I thought the new controller was great. Their is nothing wrong with the dual shock controllers, so no reason to change it IMO. PS4 controller has the touch pad which I'd like to see how they'll add that in games. A share button for who knows what lol, I'm assuming it'll be useful in the future. It took the trigger design from Microsoft, which is a big improvement, gives the user more control in the game Also thumb sticks are now concave down like the xbox, allows for better grip and more comfortable. Another improvement I think. Lastly what many people though were a LED screen is actually a light bar. It'll be used as a sensor bar for some games, tilting the controller I suspect will effect your character in the game. Possibly other things it could be used for as well. So new features are: Triggers Share Button Touch Pad Concave down analog sticks Lightbar IMO all good improvements, really impressed with Sony this year. |

Adding a touch pad and built in move is a good idea. But they could have made it look so much better. It just looks cheap to me. |

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of the design either, only downside to it. Seems like PS4 thing this year is the future of gaming, the controller isn't giving me the futuristic feel though. Still I'll take quality for design any day. |

Yeah, I'm waiting on this price. My guess is another 600 dollars release. Those specs are pretty insane for a console, it could potentially beat my PC. The X86 CPU is no joke, those things have power. I'm going to assume I have it beat in GPU department, considering I just dropped 200 on a new card. But that CPU, wish they would have thrown more numbers though. |

Apparently it's confirmed PS4 will allow used games, so I might be a PS4 guy in this new generation if Xbox decides to be an *****. |

I personally am loving everything about it so far. I heard there would be a feature where if You are stuck or something a friend can take over Your controller with theirs and help You beat it, not sure if that was real though, only read it at one place. EDIT: Also, loving the new Infamous......That'll be a buy for me, I guess, I hope Cole Macgrath and Zeke Dunbar are both featured in the game in some way, I pretty much only came back for the second game because of them, and found that I loved the second one more than the first, but the new character looks like a ripoff of the new Dante from DmC to me..... I watched the presentation, and while all the games looked extremely impressive, most of the games aren't even exclusive to the console. For me, PC will always be superior, no matter how good Sony, Microsoft or Nintendo makes their consoles. That said, I was very impressed with Watch Dogs and The Witness. Those two games, I will definitely get, whether it be on a console or PC. |
