Chrome Favourite Manga Dragon Ball, Bleach	We all know that Toei has a bit of thing for Goku, but how much of it is hax and how much of it is simply misunderstanding? Look at this forum, 50% of it is arguing about who's stronger than who, and we know that peoples' understanding of the powers of DB/Z characters has greatly improved in the last 10 years, is it possible that Toei actually did/does think that their representation of Goku is actually accurate? I would say so. You look back at the time that filler was made, during the 1980s-1990s; there was no knowledge bank of information, there was no strength checker. If you actually want to find out exactly where characters are in relation to one another, you have to read pretty darn closely. I just can't see them pouring through everything the way we do. They have to put out these anime episodes very quickly right? I'll give an example of what it takes to figure out that Gotenks SSJ~>SSJ3 Goku: Read what Piccolo says about him Read what Goku says about him Read what Piccolo says about SSJ3 Goku Understand what is really going on - Goku thinks he'll win for sure as an SSJ Connect the points above Apply that to your filler from then on It's a pretty long process that requires lots of deductive reasoning and when you're on a deadline like that, what are you supposed to do? What kind of filler could you possibly add to the parts leading up to Vegito? Goku getting beaten around by Buutenks breathing? That would be friggin' stupid. Filler is required to keep pace with the manga chapters and there's only so much you could do. Reading into character powers as deeply as we requires time and evaluation and it would greatly restrict what could be done for filler. It's simply impractical the same way trying to get the same artist fore very episode would be impractical. Toei is budgeted both by money and by time. The point is that we assume that Toei actually knows how strong Buutenks/Super Buu/Ultimate Gohan is, and I'd argue that that is not really a certainty. I can't really fault them for not knowing what's going or for making Goku as strong as he is. Either way, it's simply a means to an end: adding some (moderately) compelling filler.

Chrome Favourite Manga Dragon Ball and Naruto	I agree that they shouldn't be completly blamed for it, but if your going to make episodes and movies about a manga like DBZ, then you should know how strong the characters actually are before you ever make an episode IMO.

They placate to the viewer, and they know that Goku is the primary fan fave, so they give him most of the screen time, regardless of how consistent to the story that the situation is.
	The vengeance is her's for as long as she stands by Him.
