( not really that close , some like gap between Goku and Vegeta in CG) As Gohan is slacked off in Buu arc , but was same tier as SSJ Goku CG. Then its impossible to have Piccolo below Base Saiyans since he became atleast close to SSJ Trunks CG. Then you have to put Base Saiyans > SSJ Trunks , which its impossible.
