I would literally stay awake in bed at night trying to figure out exactly what happens!! Me: ''So he went to the past when he was 20, an then he said that in 3 years time, the year of the alternate world where Goku dies , 2 years after that. . . Cell. . . 4 years. . . Goku dies of heart virus. Androids kill everybody. Trunks goes back in time. Trunks returns from future, kills Androids and Future Cell. Timeline 2: Same as timeline 1 until Trunks Comes Back from Timeline 4. Timeline 2 Trunks uses shutdown device to defeat androids. Imperfect Cell kills trunks and takes his time machine to Timeline 3. Timeline 3: Timeline 2 Cell Arrives in Timeline 2 Trunks' time machine. Timeline 1 Trunks kills Freeza and Cold. Goku survives heart virus. Cell appears. Ssj2 Gohan kills Cell. 7 years later, Buu saga. Timeline 4: Similar to timeline 3, except Cell didn't arrive from the future. Z Fighters discover and use Dr. Gero's shutdown device and kill the androids. Timeline 2 Trunks returns to Timeline 2 and is killed by Cell. Presumably, a variation of the Buu Saga could have happened. Goku probably wouldn't have Ssj3, but he or Gohan could have freed Old kai from the Z sword and beat Buu with potential unlocks or Potara fusion in some way. Or Dabra spits on everybody.
