You know how when you're a kid, your parents tell you to go to bed, do your homework, chores, eat your vegetables, etc. And you say "I can't wait til I'm an adult so I can stay up as late as I want, eat pizza whenever I want, and play video games with my friends whenever I want." Then mom says well, sure, you think life will be like that. But you'll have to get a job, pay bills, and have all sorts of grown up responsibilities. Maybe she was half right, since I do work 40 hours a week and pay my bills, but the rest of the time? I rent a house with a friend of mine, there are pizza guys who practically know us by name, and we spend 90% of our days off playing video games like the slightly overgrown children that we are. Maybe by the time I hit 30 my metabolism will start shouting at me to consume better food if I don't want to have to go out and buy bigger pants. But for now.... Hitting /played on any of my characters on any of the mmos I've ever played is somewhat frightening, though..
