I have a spanish version, and this is what it says in them chapter 199 page 3. panel 1. raditz: Kakarot... have you actually forgotten about me? This is not possible!!! ...Have you ever taken a hard blow to the head? chapter 199 pg. 10 panel 4. raditz: The Saiya-jin race suffered a grave incident, our home planet exploded from a collision with a huge asteroid. So very few of us managed to survive... chapter 199 pg. 11 panels 1 and 2. raditz: Our parents have died as well. raditz: Currently, there are only 4 Saiya-jins left, including you. We survived because we were sent to exterminate other planets and that's why we are still alive. My version's not that bad, and I've been comparing it with several other I've found online (english and spanish) and with the TV dialogue from the spanish dub (which is quite good compared to the US one, at least from what I've seen on youtube). I think it's a translation problem, Goku was supposed to know about his family and his mission, but not necessarily about his planet having been destroyed.

	list of canon sources: the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga. list of non canon sources: everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality. for those that blindly follow word of god

Posts: 790 Group: Member Member #5,932 Joined: March 30, 2011	There's no way he did, unless that planet was full of nothing. It takes a PL of 100+ to conquer a planet, unless the planet is uninhabited; in which case the Saiyan's wouldn't have been sent. Goku probably had a PL of less than 5.

Posts: 9,150 Group: Member Member #5,265 Joined: September 24, 2010 Gender Not Specified Favourite Anime dragonball/z/gt/movies What Browser do you use? internet explorer or firefox	raditz specifically stated that goku should have purged earth in 1 month. who said you need a pl of at least 100 to purge a planet? you need a pl at least double the strongest PL there. on earth, when goku landed, that would have been roshi or tao. no one seems to be able to detect the lookout unless they already know it's there, so kami and popo wouldn't be revealed. as long as they were both less than 5x goku's power when he was sent, there shouldn't have been a problem.
