At most Gohan gets a few scars on his body, but there's the hugely implied gap between Gohan and Goku has it that he can more or less take the blast without much trouble. Gohan can get hurt by it. Gohan would probably look like how he did when he protected Vegeta from Cells blast.

It was kind of more powerful than Instant Kamehameha as Goku charged it for a longer time And for being cannon .... how else can we prove if Gohan's gonna handle it or not if we dont take Non Cannon for this particular question ?
