Why wasn't Gohan "revived" by Shenron?; Gohan's supposed death and non revival

I've always wondered, in the Buu saga when everyone on the Z gang thinks Gohan's dead (but is actually in the Kaio Shin planet), how come no one realized that if he was dead he should have been revived by Bulma/Yamcha's wish to the dragonballs to revive all the non bad guys?

Vegeta had no chance because he was considered a bad guy (was sent to hell) and had already died before, but Gohan should have been revived without any problems, but he obviously wasn't cause he was still alive and yet no one noticed that.

Am I missing something here? O did the Z gang forgot that Gohan had never died before??

They revived only people who got killed by Majin Vegeta IIRC.

No, they asked for everyone who had died that day (except the bad guys) to be revived, that's why Kibito was revived as well.

Haha ^, How can I forget Kibito (shows how less important he is)

I think Goku just appeared and they forgot about Gohan being revived too , then Goku told the bad news and the sad scene began.

I bet it was just a plot hole something easily skipped over.

Something easily skipped over.

Or they were just in the heat of things, they never had time to realize something like that.

Videl thought about Gohan the most on the Lookout, but she didn't know too much about the DBs.

Piccolo and Goku were too focused on their talks and the destruction below.

For justice or not, it was pretty needless to spray the brains and guts of the Cell Juniors all over the pavement. -1 rep in Enma's book.

Anyway, as Prof said, everyone was likely too caught up in the crisis of stopping Boo to use enough common sense to pay attention to detail.
