Wow, I just finished the last episode. It was amazing! I'm bummed that anime is over I really loved watching every episode! Gon&killua parting ways was pretty sad they are the best duo imo.I hope they make a game or something based off the storyline that would be aawesome
What did you think of the end of the Chimera Ant arc?

A fantastic game could be made of the series though, imagine Netero vs Meruem with QTE's so you have to button bash like crazy to either slap Meruem around or as him dodge hits.

Guess we'll have to make do with J-Stars for now...

Hopefully more HxH characters make it in to the next one.

The only thing we’re allowed to believe is that we won’t regret the choice we made.

It was an really awesome arc! The fights were pretty damn good, killua using godspeed was a epic moment to I wished kurapika and leorio made more apperances that would have been cool.

Hey, it's not even the end. The manga is still on going, the anime ended because they didn't have enough material to animate into episodes. If the mangaka decides to resume, and begin releasing chapters, I'll see the anime returning for sure.

For anyone who's going to read the manga, I suggest reading it from the beginning would be the best. 350 Chapters aren't that long, and probably would give you enough time until Togashi decides to drop chapters.

So don't fear it's the end, my friend. It's just the beginning of something new, much like post-skip One Piece.

Hmm, I dunno.

It feels like Togashi doesn't particularly care about the anime's progression. Perhaps he resents it since it looks so much better than his artwork

But seriously I don't think he's ever going to be in a rush to write more content for the anime to use. I'm sure he'll get it finished at some point but it will be too late to continue this anime again, with the same voice actors, animators and soundtrack.
If it takes him more than 2 years to make enough content...which is likely with all these breaks and mysterious illnesses they probably won't continue it unless there's massive interest in it.

Not sure how popular it is in Japan but on Crunchyroll it only has like 2000 ratings compared to something like Shippuden with around 46 thousand though that's been around way longer of course.

Just caught up with the manga, and the current arc is very promising. It's better to just go ahead and read it than wait for an adaptation that may or may not come.

I'll start a Hunter x Hunter Chapters Discussion. I'll post my thoughts there about each chapters, and discuss any difference with the anime, if there was, but I think there are.

Hunter x Hunter 2011 sales and ratings in Japan (in terms of anime of course) is very high, so there's obviously the massive interest in its favor. We just need to get Togashi get back to work for his last non-stop 10 years before ending the series :D

I'd say go ahead and read the manga from the beginning, and if you have enough time and care, I suggest watching the HxH 1998 OVA, HxH 1999, HxH OVAs, and then read the manga from the beginning. I've watched all of the above, and I'm planning to read the manga from the beginning soon.

Have you ever watched HxH 2011 movies? If not, then you absolutely have to. They're pretty amazing when it comes to anime movies. Go and watch Hunter x Hunter: Phantom Rouge first, then watch Hunter x Hunter: The Last Mission.

I don't think Togashi could handle it really he doesn't seem to cope with the stress as well as other mangaka, that's why YYH was so rushed at the end.

Still haven't watched The Last Mission...

I have it downloaded but...but... :'( then I have no more HxH.
I think I've been holding off watching it because that's it truly ended >.>

Really? You didn't? You should really go ahead and watch it. It's pretty amazing in my opinion. I watched it in mid-late August with two of my friends.

Here's some HxH content.

The movies didn't do justice to the series. HxH is probably one of the most creative and well-written Shounen out there, but the movies are just a couple of mediocre side-stories without any real depth. They were entertaining, but that's about it.

Hm, I thought PR was good but not fantastic, a decent one time watch that doesn't stray too far from HxH's feel.

It's a shame they never did any filler going by the movies it'd be half decent, certainly not like crappy Naruto or Bleach filler. Heck the filler would probably be better than some of those series' canon arcs.
