I would love this to continue further, but Togashi's just way too inconsistent with his schedule for that to happen (tough he seems to be sick right now, so I can't really say that it's all due to him being lazy). The show will resume. It's supported by Gon's voice actress and by the show's ratings in Japan. The ratings are very high in Japan, and going by what Gon's voice actress said, they will resume the show. I guess up to a year from episode 148, and they will only animate 1 chapter per episode, probably even less sometimes. THIS EPISODE IS AMAZING. PROBABLY THE BEST EPISODE I'VE EVER SEEN. THIS WAS BEAUTIFULLY DONE!

When it ends, the Anime will probably be about 10 chapters from the manga. Togashi is not the type of mangaka to put out 45+ chapters in a year. If he somehow doesn't go back on hiatus (doubtful to say the least) then you could maybe say another 2 - 3 years being optimistic. Honestly, if you like the series you're best off picking up the manga when the anime ends. Luckily for you, the art has been top notch since Togashi came back so you won't have to deal with the famous scribbles.

If this manga was at the hands of an another mangaka, I would see this happening a few hundred chapters later, don't you think?

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Ahhhh! The Hype I can't wait for next episode I wonder if it will be as tear worthy as Komugi and Meruem dying together? Just Gon and Leorio meeting almost set me off... Apparently HxH is on an indefinite hold again hopefully this doesn't turn in to another long hiatus... I think they should make some games in the mean time just to keep some money rolling and for the series to remain in the minds of anime only and manga fans, that way there's a greater chance of the anime continuing...but it ALL depends on Togashi. I'm going to try remain optimistic expecting him to be ill etc isn't going well. Anyway, great episode this is probably the one battle shounen that I still love when there's no fighting. Pariston is just...he's such a shady dude it's awesome, he's almost more of an oddball than Hisoka even(wondering where he is also) And Illumi wonder what he's up to, guess he might want to keep Alluka alive after all and abuse his/her power? I guess he could wish for Killua to be obedient to him or go back to being an assassin. I wonder why Killua wasn't there...maybe he had to leave with Alluka since nobody was allowed to see him/her or did Gon just not apologise and he left? Perhaps he'll be back for the last episode and then we'll all be brought to tears with his apology.

The best one Favourite Manga They all suck	It's possible that they'll just continue from the '11 one, like they did for FT. I believe the only reason they did the reboot to begin with was because they couldn't get the same voices as the '99 version to do the ant arc. A third reboot would be a bit much, admittedly. At best, aside from improved visuals and sound, they can fix up some of the slower pacing in the ant arc and maybe make the spider arc more faithful to the manga (since, iirc, some parts are even less faithful than the '99 version, still cool doe but yeah).

Some scenes were animated beautifully, but most episodes have tons of still frames, characters out of proportion and even some recycled animation. It doesn't look bad by any means (it's still better than other long-running anime), but this series used to be way better in that regard. Anyway, another great episode. Spoiler: click to toggle The bit with Killua and Something at end was great. Probaly my favorite scene from this arc so far. I'm starting to like Ging more. His reunion with Gon was pretty funny. So, interesting that Something and Alluka identify as female. Not sure how the series continues from here is Alluka just always around or is Killua just gone for a while I wonder? At least Gon knows he needs to apologize was thinking he might just not. f*** man, Killua has had to put up with so much emotional crap since the start of the series how does he even function. I wonder if they can ever fix Kite? I guess Alluka could but I wouldn't want them to just abuse wish making it's not Dragon Ball. If they still have his body maybe they could transfer his consciousness in to it? I don't see the point in him still existing if there's no way for him to ever be important again or have a life of his own.

The second half of the episode with Gon and Killua parting ways was very good too, specially with that montage at the end, but the first half with Koala and Kaito was amazing. Of course relevant later in the series no diubt but the anime isn't going that far for sure... Regardless such a sad episode THEY CAN'T SPLIT UP NOOOO I didn't have that spoilt for me so when Killua said he was staying with Alluka I was thinking they'd be a trio...

Some of the most important plotlines were concluded, specially the ones regarding Gon and Killua. Also, that little montage is one of the best endings HxH could hope for (I really liked to see Kurapika again, still holding that phone for reasons that I didn't understand since he obivously didn't plan on answering anyone's calls). See lots of people saying "just wait until the third iteration when there's more manga" IT WON'T BE THE SAME. There's no way they could make another anime better than this, how do you top the animation and OST for scenes like Meruem and Komugi dying etc. If only they did do some filler I bet the team could actually make some good stuff. It's good that it's basically untarnished but filler could have kept it going potentially, could have had an arc about the Devils Sonata and maybe one of Hanzo's homeland stuff like that, extra parts of Greed Island too. So possibly even before it got to the Chimera Ant arc theamga would have started going again. Eh, anyway, interesting stuff there's a world past the skies, sounds a lot like something from final Fantasy.

I didn't they could do this. The opening caught me off guard, as well as the ending. They played the full version, with many scenes we loved in the anime. The episode itself was completely amazing. I'm sad that this is the last episode in the anime for probably a really long time. This thread, one of the best threads I made, will probably start dying, unless any anime related thing happened to come by.

Like a PS3 one(probably wouldn't go on Xbox same as J-Stars) They could make a great game out of it, would be a good way to keep anime fans interested until they continue it or start again...the latter I really hope they don't do. Although it would be an incredible lolachievement for Togashi to have his series animated 3 times without even being completed it would just be wrong. A game would be great though, one sort of like the Naruto games where you can either play as Gon and follow through the story of HxH or you can just do versus type stuff. The only issue would be that it's pretty much a seinen so they'd most likely need to censor it which would be lame but if done right could still be awesome.
