When they first met, Gon didn't even recognise Kite. That explains a lot.

There'd be no guarantee that he could come back and voice Kite since he wouldn't appear again for like 2 years. Maybe they're just going to do some kind of fillerish flashback next episode giving them a more in-depth relationship, I think they probably should. There's a figurine of Gon from this episode... As in his adult form complete with the long hair it's like 4 times longer than the body probably one of the weirdest looking figures you could buy So The Last Mission could be released in the west relatively soon? I'd rather buy it than have to download it illegally, might do both though if a downloadable comes out months before I won't be able to resist. I read the manga of this part, they adapted it amazingly well...not reading the chapter after was a major challenge.

I honestly think that if he could fire ki blasts then he'd be up there with final form Freeza. Hard to compare of course since everything works differently to how it does in Dragonball. I have an inkling that something inside him was telling him not to kill those two. I also knew that he knew that the two bodyguards were lying to him. They're not exactly the best liars.

Yeah, Meruem would be even surpassing Final Form Freeza in coolness, but not in power. Not gonna enter power debates cause I despise them. The King is now extremely powerful. The moment he activated his En, he appeared behind Knuckle, and took him down. And before Meleron thought of even activating his power, he was knocked down. I don't see them taking the king down, except for Gon and the help of the others. What happened with Gon? He got shorter for sure.

We just had a huge climax with Gon and this episode was still amazing, they've been consistently awesome... Meruem is just crazy now, can't wait to see his interrogation skills. I love how he's just letting Pouf and Youpi do things behind his back because he understands that it's for his benefit, that's a really cool character change before he'd just demand an answer and/or hit them. As for Frieza comparisons, he'd beat him in an arm wrestle for sure but in a fight Frieza is faster and more destructive. If Meruem made an ability though... Imagine he had something like Shoot's ability Frieza wouldn't know what to do especially since he can't sense. Anyway can't tell if Killua is out of the fight or not, guess he might put Gon down and head back but he also might encounter Pouf or Youpi that will be tense. Wonder if Youpi could perhaps absorb Pitou's body(what's left of it) to gain some power back? Hopefully Gon and Killua have some interaction with Meruem soon they've only even seen him like once. Also Ikalgo and Palm...they're so screwed, I bet Meruem's En will easily go down there it seems better than Pitou's.

People calling it "deus ex machina" How, Meruem directly got hit by a nuke and then Pouf and Youpi were in and around the crater then gave away most of their bodies, in what way does it not make sense that the radiation could mess them up. Apparently this arc should be done in the next 3 episodes, I hope there's at least 1 more fight, I want to see Killua vs Pouf even though at this point it'd probably be almost as one sided as Gon vs Pitou... Wonder what ant Gyro is then and if that becomes important. Props to Welfin for his bravery there wouldn't have expected that from him.

It was strange why the Royal Guard and the King bled. Thanks for the explanation. I thought of radiation, but I disregarded it quickly cause normal people fought off radiation from nukes, and still live today to tell the tale. The radiation should and is extremely powerful to harm the King and his royal guards. Now that I thought of it, Netero probably had a Rose Bomb inside himself, and powered it more. The explosion was gigantic compared to a normal Rose Bomb. First, I thought that Netero mimicked the Rose Bomb with his aura, and that he had a restriction that it works if he died, but now I knew that he had Rose Bomb(s?) inside of himself. It's either a bunch of Rose Bombs inside his body, or a single Rose Bomb powered by Netero's aura. 3 episodes? Could they wrap everything in three episodes? I think they should at least have 5 episodes to warp the arc. So how did Youpi die? I doubt Welfin killed him? I think it's the combination of Welfin and the powerful radiation that killed him.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	I think either Welfin pulled it off because Youpi was severely weakened or Youpi over-exerted himself, plus he's pretty dumb he'd not likely have worked out Missle Man's abilities properly. I reckon the Rose's are just made with Nen partly, the cloud seems a bit unbelievable to form so perfectly. An ability user probably enhances them I don't think Netero played a part. Would also explain why the radiation of it in his body didn't kill him. I like this kind of twist, it's way better than a BS powerup because lets face it nobody could even touch the King without it being hilariously contrived and it's not some random disease out of nowhere like with Itachi in Naruto. Well, it kind of is but it actually makes sense. Thank god Meruem isn't part cockroach I guess people just wrongly assume that the radiation wouldn't bother the ants when really it's still very dangerous, especially ground zero of a nuclear blast. Although I'm not sure if it's a case of them all having it or just Meruem and since they're linked Youpi and Pouf got it.

Where I've read to of the manga is pretty much where the anime is right now, maybe slightly ahead.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Doubt it, there's bound to be people with abilities that can completely restore it, like what happened in Greed Island whoever made Breath of Archangel could do it. Although something as powerful as that can probably only be used if you earned it, same with any healing ability the conditions are likely severe. I'm fairly sure it won't happen but I wonder if Killua would consider playing Greed Island again by this point he'd blitz right through, though dodgeball would be a challenge... I'm more interested in seeing what they have to do to get his Nen back since that's a huge deal presumably.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Brilliant. The bit with Welfin was a bit weird but I guess he succumbed to the same kind of fear that Knov did only to a more extreme extent. But he was actually able to push past it with his loyalty for Gyro, he's probably like my second or third favourite Chimera Ant And the King himself, one word and he changes completely that was awesome. Turns out it wasn't radiation poisoning, I guess maybe they're not nuclear related so no radiation perhaps. To be honest I would prefer that to the poison but the poison gets it's point across so it doesn't make a difference in the end. I guess they could wrap it up in the next two episodes then, the remaining Chimera Ants wouldn't be much of a threat really Hunters could mop the hostile ones up just fine. Can't wait to see Meruem meet Komugi again...I hope he doesn't go dying before he gets the chance, would be cool if they got another game of Gungi in too. It's pretty great how this is a battle shounen but it can make you really look forward to non action orientated parts.
