I'm a little sad that we never got to any of the fights but damn that episode was intense, especially what it's leading to. Netero's level of skill and strength seems fair, not even Pitou could see that he'd moved. Wonder what would have happened if his fist actually made contact with her? The thing is though, the King is even more powerful than him so their fight is going to be insane surely. Though by these feats as of yet the King hasn't shown anything remotely comparable. Don't know if I'm more excited for Meruem vs Netero or Killua & Gon vs Pitou... I doubt Togashi will make a comeback while the anime could still continue >.> damn you Togashi! |

They adapted that really well, I was worried that the Narrator wouldn't work in the Anime as well as it does in the manga, but those doubts have been put aside, it built the tension up wonderfully. I've always liked having a narrator explain abilities and things, saves the characters from looking like morons. Dat Dragon Dive tho! Ah I was hoping we'd get to the start of the fight with Youpi this week but I forgot about that whole part with Netero's past. Next week then, it just gets more epic from here! |

Yeah I figured the "someone" Netero was going to call would be Zeno but totally forgot about that plot point so was just like oh. OH, OHHHHH, f*** YEAH! Glad he's got more than just that fairly lame dragon lance thing he had against Chrollo. Amazing that most of this episode happens in a tenth of a second, that's speed. (I suppose now we're going to get people saying Netero is weak for only being "soud level" *sigh*) Loved the reactions of Pitou and Pouf to intruders, Suppose now that Zeno is there Morel would have less of a hard time with Pouf since Knov is out of the fight and he's weakened, although it looks like the fights will be all messed up for a while. Also about Morel not being at 100%, couldn't he have called Biscuit to help? Meh. |

I'm really not sure how Netero could deduce that Pitou is stronger than him, maybe he sees that she can hit harder but no way is she faster, couldn't even see him move. I highly doubt she could take him in a fight, all he did was hit her with a blast of aura too not a direct hit. Wondering what the King's ability is going to be like it will have to be insane for him to touch Netero but then Netero still has his ability to use. |

Maybe Pitou has more aura? Also she was in air, she has no way to dodge that unless she can fly. We don't really know how the technique really works, so we need to wait for like the next episode. Colt witnessed her aura, and king's aura too. Netero showed his full power, and Colt stated he's weaker than the Royal Guards. |

He was just going off pure nen, in terms of raw nen Pitou is the strongest of the Royal Guard and Netero judged that her (going to say her because in the Anime it's clearly female) nen was stronger than his. But fights don't always come down to Nen and Pitou's problem is Netero's attack speed. But then again there's a lot to consider. While he hit her with some force, she took no damage from that attack. Plus she was in mid-air and not fully on guard. There's a lot to consider but Netero isn't beating her without a lot of difficulty. |

Still though he can move faster than she can react and that's just his speed he doesn't require any extra effort to be that fast, she would have a hard enough time hitting him even if she does hit a lot harder. I'm pretty sure all he did was force her back with some aura rather than actually make contact so if her aura is stronger taking no damage makes sense there. I want to see what Pouf can do, Youpi looks like the obvious strong man of the 3 and Pouf seems like a weakling but obviously that won't be the case. However his emotional state might make him an easier target, or make him more dangerous. For being a Zoldyck thought Zeno's ability was lame back in the Yorknew arc but now...clearly not. Still hasn't hit so some people might be taken out of the fight immediately next episode, it's awesome just how well the danger of this situation is conveyed other series tend to lack this kind of tension. Obviously Killua and Gon won't die but anyone else there is at high risk. |

I know. Got up to wash my face when the King stood up and was heartbroken at there being only 2 minutes or so left... So last weeks episode was basically just to show how much more ridiculously powerful the King is, poor Netero & Zeno lol. Now we see how f***ed their original plan was, Shoot and Knuckle vs Youpi was never going to be a success. Loving how dark and crazy a character Gon is becoming. One thing though...how did Killua know about Dragon Dive? Before the start of the series he didn't know anything about Nen and obviously couldn't see it so when did he have the time to learn... Perhaps when Zeno was talking about Netero it was to Killua during the weeks Gon lost his Nen only time for it to make sense really. |

Yeah, Killua shouldn't know about Dragon Dive really when you think about it, that always sort of bugged me but w/e. Very good episode again, I think this whole slow motion stuff should end in the next episode or so, it's like this in the manga too but it does pick up. Also they left out a piece of narration. In the manga there's narration for when Pitou is crying. I don't know whether they're saving it for next week or something but if you're interested, this is the manga page for that: Spoiler: click to toggle

Huh, I guess it could just be because with the anime it doesn't need to describe his voice as we hear it, but the stuff on how it makes Pitou feel shouldn't have been left out. Wonder if they'll let Meruem know it was Zeno who initiated that attack... The way he just walked past was epic, to say the least. Perhaps Killua was just told details of Zeno's assassinations and only told that strong warriors have special powers or something but in that case he'd likely have thought about it when learning of Nen. Ah well, every series is allowed a few plotholes without becoming stupid. |

Episode was cool. I loved it. The only thing that bugged me that why did Killua know about the technique. Did he know about it too in the manga? I loved the scene where Pitou cried. I absolutely loved it. The eyes of Gon when he rushed towards Youpi, I thought he was going to Jajanken him or hit him or something like that. Also why didn't Gon had the same eyes when he felt Pitou's aura? I think he's immune to all of auras now. To be real, I'm more interested in Gon and Killua vs. Pitou more than anything now. |
