Killua heading to the hunter exam, while Gon trains with Bisky. Bomber was a traitor, and killed the group instead of taking off the bombs. I wish that Gon fights Bomber soon. It would be awesome!

You'll need to look up the OVAs to continue the series. Supersaqer is referring to the rebooted series which is in Japanese Dub and English Subs.

I wish they didn't do that though, even though it's really cool I'd rather they have two openings unlike one for each arc like they normally do since this one's particularly long. Not as bad as the FT openings at least.

They seem to be streamlining things a bit and going at a fast pace to start the arc off. Little changes, such as Kite's group actually being there to research the Chimera Ants rather than happening upon them by coincidence in the manga. Gon and Killua didn't do that random search thing either. Also Madhouse you bastards. The thing with the kids was sad enough, but to have half the episode as backstory for them was cruel

The changing of the events seems to allow the anime to go through the material quicker, which I definitely don't mind at this point, though I would've liked if there wasn't as much stuff on those 2 kids..pretty sure they added stuff for them. Aside from that this arc is already getting really badass. Opening/ending were good enough for me to actually watch again rather than skip. Regarding the former, looking at the color choices of the Royal Guards, was I the only one who figured Pitou would be a blonde and Pufu would have white hair, not the reverse? Yupi being red's also weird. Meh.

This arc is long enough as it is and some of the buildup is needlessly slow, so doing this sees us get to the good stuff. Yeah in the manga the only thing with the kids was they just randomly turned up in the woods then got taken. Still, I think this was good considering that they actually come up again later in the arc... I think everyone was expecting Pitou to be blonde lol. Pufu works with that hair style as well though, honestly any light colour would have done well with him. Pitou's is okay as well. I was so sure that Yupi was going to be grey though, his colour scheme did really catch me off guard. Am I the only one getting annoyed by the Queen's voice? I really wish they'd have used a different VA for her.

Though in all honesty it probably gets going as soon as the armies of Chimera Ants first come into contact with the Hunters, we just couldn't tell because of the crappy art. I remember getting pretty excited when that went down...until I started to put up with lots of scribbles. Still exciting but it could've been better. Pitou testing his strength is a highlight of that, I'd say :P (I still find it unnatural to refer to that thing as a 'he' though, couldn't believe it when I realized he was male. Oh god, the thought of him speaking with a male's voice...). What I'm really looking forward to is the war in the palace (war's a bit of an overstatement I guess, but that's what it felt like), can't wait to see how the anime handles that. And tbh I'm more interested in seeing how they animate Feitan's movements, haha.

In the manga there's a really tense build up to them going in with a lot of narration and it leaves you on the edge of your seat, I hope they do that right. Pitou's gender is still up for debate tbh, though the translation I said refers to him as a guy (mostly). Apparently the Japanese terms are more gender neutral.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	What episode does the Greed Island arc end at? Suffering an intense internal debate over whether or not I should watch the last 5 episodes... Who would have thought a game of dodgeball could be so dangerous and scary. Great thing about this series is that it's not all just constant fist fighting and explosions, hope it stays true to that.
