I've played Dragon Quest and I have been dying to give Final Fantasy games a go but there r so many out there. When I played Dragon Quest I came across the best one there was first and that was what got me into the games. Which Final Fantasy games would u guys say were ur favorites? Also which ones would u recommend would be a good Final Fantasy game to start with?

Even though it's kinda mainstream, I'd still say FF7 was my favourite. I also liked FF12, even though many people didn't. I haven't played all of them, but many.

I'd say you should maybe start with a early FF, maybe 1-5.

Final Fantasy 1 is way too hard to have as a starter in my opinion. I would recommend starting with 9. It's not over complicated like 8, it's more fun than 7 and unlike 1, it actually gives you some idea where to go next. 3, 4 and 5 are quite good too. Also 10 and 12 are fantastic but I don't think you have a PS2 do you. So yeah, start with 9. It's not like the games follow on from each other so it doesn't matter that it's the 9th in the series.

Im one of the oddballs in the FF community cause i actually LOVED FF8.
FF9 is great as well, although it's a bit dark dont you think?
I find FF7 to be extremely overrated (Sephiroth isn't even that strong ^_^)
FF6 is my second favorite one, second only to FF8.
FF8 isn't complicated unless you dont know how to do the junctioning system correctly, which gets easy if you study it. Unless, of course you mean the storyline in which i would have to agree that it is complicated, Time Kompression is confusing.

Well my favorites are: 7, 8, 10, 13, 13-2

I'd recommend 10 as a starting point though.

I have played FF1 and FF2 on my iPhone. Absolutely loved them! The game that did it for me when I was growing up has got to be Final Fantasy X! This game was astonishing! I loved every bit of it!

Spoiler: click to toggle

That being said, I had to try out Final Fantasy X-2! Loved that game as well!!

And now we shall wait....to see what the distant future holds for us just over the horizon...

The game systems I have r N64, DS, Wii, and PS2 and PS3. However both Playstations belong to my brother. Since I'm living in my dorm the easiest ones for me to play right now would be on Game Boy Advance and DS. My roommate loves her T.V. which is the only T.V. we can have in the room so I couldn't bring a game system other than hand held to my dorm. I'm thinking about starting with a GBA or DS Final Fantasy game. I've read up that the Final Fantasy VI on GBA is supposed to many people, the best Final Fantasy game. It's pretty pricey for a GBA game like $35 not including shipping, but good classic games usually r.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I would also day IX

For me in gaming there is no beter moment than when this plays for he first time:

I'd say 9 is the most interesting, fun and has the best plot.

Main character Zidane is badass.

After that 7 is probably next best imo.

If you're going for DS then get Final fantasy 4. It's way easier than 3 which is also on the DS. 1-6 are available on the gba. 1 and 2 usually come as a two in one cartridge. But they are difficult to play. I liked 6 until half way through then it was like they ran out of ideas on where to take the story next. 10 is fantastic. I would highly recommend that. X2 is one of the few that carry on after the previous game so obviously you don't want to play that until you've finished 10. 12 is also great but I found it takes some dedication to actually finish it. For some reason it's one of those games where you get half way through and then end up never playing again for a few years. So my recomendations. For PS2 10. For DS 4 and for GBA 1 and 2.

That plays when the main bad guy shows up in IX, its epic

I think I may start it on my Vita now forgot how awesome it is lol.

On the DS I actually quite like Four Heroes of Light, it was different. Seems underrated.
That said I never finished it got bored of DS games.

3 and 4 are great on the DS
4 even has voice acting!(originally had gameboy graphics)

Snes graphics actually since that's the first console it was released on. In North America it was retitled as Final Fantasy 2 even though it was the fourth game in the series. 6 was renamed as 3. It's a little confusing. But it's all because the original Final fantasy 3 on the nes was only released in Japan. So for some reason Nintendo of America thought it would be less confusing for people to have a Final fantasy 2 on the snes even though it should have technically been Final Fantasy 4. Yeah it's a bit of a head *****. I don't know what they were thinking.
