I've had Dead Space 3 pre ordered for a long time now. And the more I hear about it, the more scared I get.  Latest articles are - Microtransactions - http://au.ign.com/articles/2013/01/22/dead-space-3-includes-microtransactions-to-improve-weapons 11 day one DLC pieces - http://au.ign.com/articles/2013/02/01/dead-space-3-has-11-pieces-of-day-one-dlc Those two things plus the co op and reduced horror have me quite worried. |

If you've played the demo, it's still has a jump factor just nowhere near the first two Dead Spaces. I heard that they're working on it right now to help make it a bit more scarier. I'm honestly sad I didn't f eel the desire to rush and pick this up. The co-op killed it for me I think. Resident evil reboot is the only hope for this genre... |

I for one think the co-op sounds awesome  BUT Its kind of lame how you need an online pass to play it, fair enough it is an online feature but its supposed to be a seamless story mode experience with another friend, its not that big an online service. Most games don't need a pass for co-op so I think thats kind of crap. I'm just renting the game so can't actually play co-op without buying a pass, was looking forward to it... Both Resident Evil and DS have changed too much. I think for DS4 if there is one they should move away from Isaac and bring someone mew to the necromorph horror, someone inexperienced to bring back the actual horror element. Because nobody really cares for Isaac do they? Its the suit that everyone loves that is Dead Space's main character, Isaac is just the filling. Next one I think should go with the above idea as well as have you rely on melee combat to survive rather than just blast everything with guns like GoW oe CoD. Guns and ammo should be scarce next time but also more deadly. |

It's to stop GameStop. Deal with it. Online passes are the only way for them to recoup the money that Gamestop robs them of by selling used. |

There probably will be a fourth, and it will probably include Isaac, but there is a chance they might move away, the ending itself was not so bad, but the post credit dialogue jusgt made me turn off my console and go and watch cartoons, it was just like.....Why? It was a good enough ending! |

Actually played a few hours of it now. Its mind of annoying firstly, still problems with aiming if an enemy is in front of you like less than a meter he tends to shoot past them even if the dot is on the freaking thing. Universal ammo thing is just silly I have like 100 clips of ammo for every gun in the game already... Guns also seem to suck/enemies are stronger which is crap. Only on normal mode and it seems to take over half a clip to kill a basic necromorph with the plasma cutter now, which kind of sucks when there's loads of them. Which theee usually always is. I don't find myself think AHHHHH OH MY GOD RUN! In this one its more oh for gods sake, go away! Too much run and gun I think. Its stupid having to pay £7.99 just to play co-op mode when its almost no different from solo, its not much of an addition and not worth that at all. |

I've beaten it. Loved it. The 2nd is still the best for me though. Co-op is actualy really fun.. |

I didn't love it, but I liked it. The action and story have improved. Like the weapon crafting. But yeah no horror at all. Stupid ending. Especially after the credits. |

Yeah ending was silly, it was epic but silly Just so happens there was a way to get to the machine... Also hated how many "power malfunction"'s dpors had Just so happens that enemies come at you, and also just so happens that the power malfunction is fixed when you beat the enemies, even if it takes you hours... Are you kidding me? Why couldn't it go with containment breaches instead? Anyway I warmed up to it a bit mainly because the bench is extremely helpful, made stupidly powerful guns there Must have spent a good 5 hours waiting at benches for scavenger bots... And then discovered what ration seals do...had like 300 lol The only scares in it for me were when a necro is right in front of you because your gun is basically in them and shoots past them -_- |
