Final Fantasy sale (PSN)

 In case anybody with a PS3 wasn't aware, there is a sale on Final Fantasy games on PSN right now. I just bought Final Fantasy VIII for £5.00. They have 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and some PSP ones like Dysidia. All for less than £10.00 each. It's well worth a look if you like classic Final Fantasy as I do.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

 I got VII and IX on my PS3 and Vita :D

I've been struggling for ages over what one of them to get with the £10 in my wallet.


Have you played any of the ones like duodeciem etc? Was kind of interested in getting one but played it safe and got ones I knew I'd enjoy.

 I have not. I already own hard copies of three, seven and nine so I only wanted eight. Then I played it and thought it was a bit ***** but I probably need to give it more of a chance. I do much prefer the fantasy setting like in nine though rather than the future like in eight.

 I know you asked him (sorry), but I played both FF Dissidias.

IMO, both of them are great and fun to play. Of course, if you would get one, you should get the newer one.

I have them for my PSP as UMDs...would like to play it on my vita :/


Edit: I also got FF 8 from the store and I'd also say it isn't good...how comes? I thought 8 was one of the great ones...? The battle background looks so empty and the whole game kinda looks lame compared to FF 7...

 I guess it's just a matter of preference because I really enjoy FF8. Unfortunately I dont have a PS3 or I would get a couple of these.

 I too find FF8 quite rubbish.

Its a BIG jump up from 7...in terms of graphics
7 had eay better music, better chatlracters, better storyline and is generally more fun.


9 is my favourite one I dislike it when there's guns and stuff(7 does it ok)

8 just seems too long and its plot doesn't make much sense and isn't all that interestint imo.


I'll probably get to buying a Dissidia just as the damm sale ends...
