Just interested to know, long topics aren't doing it for me today. So what are all your favorite animation styles? Here is my personal opinion on each and can act as a guide line for you guys if u want DB: Pilaf & 21st tournament arc- Simplistic and very flat, but gets to the point. DB: Red Ribbon Army & Baba arc- Slightly more detailed with basic fighting animation. DB: 22nd Budokai & King Piccolo arc- Much more detailed characters , better shading and contrasts, more varied and fluid movements (especially fighting) DB:23rd Budokai arc- Characters far more fluid, detail to attacks increased, large amount of special effects but slightly less detailed than king piccolo. DBZ: Saiyan-Early Namek- Similar to 23rd Budokai but far more detailed, fighting animations accurate, easy to follow and realistic, special effects not as good. DBZ: Mid Namek- Mid Cell- Slightly more square character designs, fighting animation on and off, being some of the best to mediocre, very stand out details to characters. DBZ:End of Cell- Majin Buu- Detailed in a different way to early Z, more square, slightly more realistic body builds but a major drop in fighting detail overall compared to early Z and even piccolo arcs, disproportional designs become apparent. DBGT: For lols very square throughout, much more detailed in a different way to early Z aswell, even less consistant than majin buu, fighting detail very minimal.I REALLY like the word detail. Sorry, tired. There were many more minor changes, but these are what come to mind when thinking drastic changes. Edited by everybodylovestoriyama, Jan 22 2013, 11:48 PM.

I liked Buu Saga. With Cell Saga I though the large pupils made them look a little to....cute... |

I agree with you about each fitting to their own saga. |
