The tournament isn't long after the movie and no way will Goku Jr and Vegeta Jr boost enough to tangle with Gotenks. If Gogeta Jr could beat SSJ Future Kid Trunks I'd be shocked. That's a non factor because Goku Jr, first time, he didn't control that power, and when the Tournament comes, he transform with no effort. And it obvious they gotten stronger, from what you guys say, he's weak first time, and when tourny comes he's doing ***** like Goten and Trunks, during their first time. Vegeta Jr possibly has a boost thing too, because he descendant from one of the half breeds.
