Most happy feelgood saga in Z?

Which part of Z made you feel the most happy?

For me it's without a doubt the Buu saga. The Kid Buu saga to be more specific. It was great to see 2 old rivals become friends and co-operate. And to hear Vegeta finally admit that Goku was better while having a smile on his face. And also seeing Goku gain respect for Vegeta through his determination to keep fighting against Kid Buu and his plan for the Spirit Bomb. Their thumbs up at the end was great to finally see.

And Mr Satan. Pure gold in this saga. Such a funny, ironic way to gain victory thanks to the one and only Champ. Hearing everyone chanting "Go Champ!" and seeing Piccolo's reaction to it was great. And I loved how everyone was involved. We saw pretty much every major character that hadn't been seen in ages give their energy for the Spirit Bomb. And Mr satan's classic line to Kid Buu "Caught you with your filthy hand in the cookie jar!" and later when Fat Buu was getting beaten and he says "Not while the Champs' still alive!". He even had the decency to stand up to Vegeta and refuse to ask the people for more energy which I thought was great.

And the end with the Spirit Bomb. There were so many epic lines like Vegeta shouting "The whole universe is going to die!". Hell I even remember watching the saga in Ocean dub a long time ago and even they made it feel pretty epic. There was even a part were Vegeta said "we underestimated Buu's power and Goku's totally drained!" which on the spur of the moment actually felt appropriate.

And the final moment with even Frieza saying he wasn't surprised and some random guy saying "this must be what joy feels like!" and everyone shouting "Goku!" and Vegeta shouting "Kakarot!" and then "DO IT!". Just amazing. Arguably a little cheesy but if that's cheesy then cheesy is a great thing. And Bruce Faulconer's music in the FUNi dub only made it feel more epic.
"The future of Gohan. The Future of Chi Chi. Not to mention the future of the entire universe. It all depends on me!!!! And I don't care if you're a million times stronger than me! I'm not going to let them down! So get ready Frieza because this time you're going Down!!!"

I agree the Buu saga (despite having the strongest of the series' villains) there was more reliance on humor than any other part of the show.

Thala na Gethu!

All the 4 main sagas's were intense for me. Fully loaded with action, drama, epic face-off, credible villains.

If happy/feel good saga, its the filler Otherworld Tournament.

It had great blend of humor, and action. Classic moments

Cell Saga makes me feel in my happy place.

When I'm watching it, for some reason I always get this comfortable feeling, the same comfortable feeling I used to get coming home from school and watching the Cell Saga on Toonami or even putting my tapes in, since I hated waited on CN all of the time. I just love how everyone is still somewhat young and everyone at this time was still working together.

That's why Cell Saga is one of my favs.

For me it was the Namek Saga. I liked watching Gohan and Krillin trying to collect all of the DragonBalls.

That's close in comparison to the Cell Saga, imo.

More like even with each other.

I agree with Prof Gohan, android/cell saga had something comfortable and home-y to it.

Maybe it was having the action back on Earth after all of Namek and intergalactic enemies? Not that I didn't love the previous sagas as well, but android/Cell saga has something special and enjoyable for me.

I thought the start of Buu Saga was great in terms of 'feel goodness'. I vote Buu Saga.

Definitely Buu saga.

Otherworld Tournament / Great Saiyaman saga starts so good , it creates a whole new feeling to the series such as Goku and Gohan's adventures.

Then World Tournament saga with Goten/Trunks's good moments , and Vegeta and Goku's rival moments.

Buu saga , Mr.Satan stole the show being funny and hilarious. I think it gives more livelier than other sagas , the character development at his best. Gohan and Videl's relationship was cool.

Super Buu saga had a lot of surprises , and we never knew who would be the hero or who which technique could defeat the dangerous villain.

IMO. Kid Buu saga is the best saga ever. Best Animation Art , Best fights , Best relationship Goku/Vegeta Mr.Satan/Buu and best fight scene.

Buu saga > Other sagas.
