Here's my situation. I am in a 10-man standard keeper league. I could keep Peyton Manning, a first round pick, and lose a fifth round pick. No real risk factor there, just a good pick. Or, I could use my keeper pick on Alfred Morris, who had over 1,600 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns. Since I nabbed him off of FA, he would only cost me my last pick in the draft. The problem is Shanahan. He is notorious for taking no name backs, making them 1,000+ rushers and then letting them fade back into obscurity, like Roy Helu last year. Morris, if starting again next year, is easily a first or high second round pick and a gem if he starts next year. Since he was voted as an All-Pro (no kidding, right?!) something tells me that'll change, but, the risk factor is much higher. Thoughts? I was going Peyton for awhile but recently I've been leaning Alfred Morris. His YPC. the fact that he was second in the league to Arian Foster in rushing TD's, second in rushing to AP, and only behind AP and Marshawn Lynch in broken tackles (Lynch only has one more) as well as him being voted an All-Pro. |

Keep Morris, combined with RG3 he can't have a bad season. Read option is too good Draft a better QB next year. Edited by Fulgore, Jan 16 2013, 04:14 PM.

ja, Peyton Manning having a season like this after his playoff disapointment and aging body is a big risk, whereas Morris is young. |

Definitely. I think I gotta go Morris. Potential no. 1 back for last round draft pick equals beautiful.
