I think Piccolo's Decision is the best episode of GT, honestly.

Great all over.

Where art thou ObsessiveFanGirl when needed? :(

Japanese voices might not be someone's cup of tea, but they're not terrible.

Ja I liked Vegeta and Piccolo a lot in Japanese.

Do the Japanese voices fit the Shadow Dragons better?

Somewhat, yeah.

Baby's voice is a lot better in Japanese.

And Dr. Mu?

Oh wow, there's no comparison.

The scene where Dr. Mu is asking Baby to wake up in Japanese has a ton of emotion. It's crazy how much it makes you believe that Mu is sad because he thinks Baby is dead.

Yeah man, I see what you mean when you say GT is actually somewhat enjoyable in Japanese. Not only are the lines in English wack, almost every voice is pretty much unbearable, save for a few like Vegeta's which never really changed.
Maybe they knew GT was a failure so they just didn't bother.

Always suspected this was more or less the reason why the GT narrator drawls worse than a robot when he talks.

Hmm. I used to watch Z as a kid in English, and saw the entire Saiyan Saga like that, but honestly, once I went Japanese, everything in English seems corny, and contrived.

Granted, there will always be parts I want to watch in English, for nostalgia purposes, but overall, I'll just switch back after that specific line or something.

I agree with this.
