If you had to choose between one of the two (below) which would you choose and why? How do you think your choice would turn out if the story was written that way? - For Dragonball(the beginning series) to have the 'Dragonball Z' feel the whole time and go on with the story until it ends? Or - Have Dragonball(the beginning series) to be like it is now; and continue to have the Dragonball feel throughout the whole series with no 'Z' feel at all? |

I don't see a massive difference between the two (not counting Pilaf saga). I guess I'd prefer the DBZ feel the entire time though. No pilaf saga and the characters feel more lively and real. |

Ehm , I don't know , I liked the series how they are now , Its just times changing and you can't have the old DB feeling like as the Z feeling. There is even so much difference feeling in Early Z to Mid Z to End of Z. I mean compare the Saiyan Saga to Android saga and then to Buu saga. So comparing DB to DBZ is not really necessary IMO. |

In an overall view, DB does differ from Z. You make a good point about Z changing through it's 3 stages; but I'm talking about an overall view. I wouldn't change the Dragonball story either, I like the way it is; but it's just a what if discussion. |

You know what?! I have many different aspects. From an aspect of art i'd go for DBZ (volume 37 style). For the adventure type manga, DB for sure. But I guess the Z manga is pretty much the same as the DB one. |

I don't understand what you mean by DB and Z feeling. |

Answer this: Do you think DB was different than Dbz? Or is it the same to you? Same or different story? |

I think the style changed to meet the needs of each story.A Pilaf Saga with beams and destruction would be ridiculous(as proven during Black Star Saga),as would a Freeza Saga in a fairytale style. |
