What KIND of anime is your ideal?

I can't do slice of life or highschool dramas that often. Like if I want a drama, I go for the screwed up to the max anime, like Elfen Lied or Gantz , but if I want sad I want Madoka or the EF series...if I want comedy, I need an anime that makes me laugh til I cry... I usually end up watching really bizarre stuff. What genres/types of anime do you seem to enjoy most?

In anime though, gotta go with fantasy, light comedy/adventure and action bits. Fruits Basket, Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero, Sword Art Online, etc. Although, I will say for the rare amount of sport anime there are, they're all pretty well done. Kuruko No Basketball, Slam Dunk, Prince of Tennis, Eyeshield 21, etc are all I've seen and enjoyed. Edited by Cal, Jan 10 2013, 06:30 PM.

Posts: 1,998 Group: Member Member #7,432 Joined: March 11, 2012	Slice of life used to be my favorite like Welcome to the NHK and Bakuman. Haven't watched alot of anime recently but I think if I were to watch now I'd want something alittle calmer, maybe more adventurous.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Hellsing, Elfen Lied, Trigun Maximum	Anything with a good amount of story, development both plot and charactes. It's why I absolute love Clannad and Clanad:After Story, Fullmetal Alchemist, Elfen Lied (manga) and Fate/Stay Night (Visual Novel) and Fate/Zero. However I also enjoy just a nice good bit of action which is why I also love Hellsing, Trigun/Trigun Maximum and stuff.
