Did het got stronger then he was in the Cell games saga or weaker? Because I think he got a zenkai after he was injured, but he also did not train for a year. What do you guys think?

I always thought he was the same strength. He just hadn't learned to go SSJ2 on command yet.

I don't think he got a Zenkai, everybody in that Movie is the same as in the Cell Games.

That's what I would say.

He seemed to have trained a little bit to me, since he was rockin the orange gi ad was pumped up for the tournament with Trunks, Piccolo, and Krillin in it. Nothing too special though.

Don't think he got much stronger. I'd say by a bit though, because he was focusing on school a lot.. Though I never really pay attention to much after the Cell saga, so I wouldn't trust me if I were you.

He strength gains would only be minor, but he should be slightly more powerful.
The fact that he still didn't have the ability to tap into Super Saiyan 2 completely at will can speak volumes for how much he trained.

That, or it was meant to be reminiscent of his transformation at the Cell Games i.e. dramatic effect.

Well I don't think Bojack was really anywhere near to Super Perfect Cell in power. Gohan was able to put up a good fight against him and his minions in SS1.
"The future of Gohan. The Future of Chi Chi. Not to mention the future of the entire universe. It all depends on me!!!! And I don't care if you're a million times stronger than me! I'm not going to let them down! So get ready Frieza because this time you're going Down!!!"

no, he wasn't. gohan got thrashed as an ssj. he didn't leave a single mark on any of them, even when he got in some solid hits. they were all toying with him. zangya didn't even power up, and when she got serious she KO'ed gohan in a single hit. as far as the power of everyone there, only trunks should be significantly stronger. he'd been in the future for three years, and then come back, while for everyone else only 2 months had passed. he's still far weaker than gohan, of course. i'd say, at max, he's equivalent to CG goku, but more likely somewhat weaker.
list of canon sources:

the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga.

list of non canon sources:

everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality.

I think he trained a tad, but not so much that it increased his strength by a significant amount.

Need to see M9 again...

M9 is about 1 to 2 years after the Cell games. Vegeta is sated to only have trained for 5 years in the Buu saga Dub I don't know if it is true for the jap anime or not but in M9 it is also said that he has stopped training.

Gohan has also not been training as Chi-Chi said she let him stop studying to enter the tournament.

So basically Gohan is a little weaker, Vegeta is weaker, Trunks may be stronger but he still isn't Vegeta level and everyone else is cell games level.

It's stated in the timeline that the movie takes place "several months" after the Cell Games, so probably not a full year yet. Gohan likely didn't undertake any serious training or lose any noticeable amount of power.
