But if he was brought to the brink of death would he lose energy? I get that it hurt his stamina

I think the only time this argument is even plausible is Mecha Freeza (@Trunks) ; but here?

No, as Clearin already said, he was at FP.

And as KP said, he was at 100% of what he had left in the tank.

The problem is that he's able to reach 100%, and he does so, however briefly that may be. What you're asking is - what about the insane injuries? They hurt his stamina, nothing more.

I know he reached 100%. But shouldn't getting hit by a ki attack like that drop your energy. For example, Gokus KHH vs Cell dropped his energy.

Dropped his current chi output? Perhaps. Made his reserves go down somehow? No, that's silly.

So it dropped Freeza's current ki, but he still had access to the rest?

Not necessarily dropped his chi, being banged up would've just made it harder to keep his chi output going. Another kind of stamina issue, I guess.

Or you could just go with the statements and not delve so deep when it's unnecessary.. :'(

I do go with the statements. Its pretty clear that he's 100%

But another point about Cell. If his energy was currently dropped, but he could still use his reserves, why would Goku bother giving him a senzu bean? Because he was tired?

Also don't forget between the spirit bomb and being @100% he was getting stomped by Goku so when does he get the chance to ever recover.

He was tired + injured. That counts as not being at your very best, which is what Goku wanted Cell to be at when Gohan killed him. While he had reserves, the injuries and slight weariness could potentially bring him down in the long run like with Freeza.

No offense, but I dunno why that's being questioned when we just established that injuries still mean something even if you can access your full power.. :'(

The title....Ok.

Frieza might be renewed with his 100% body , Its a transformation to keep your body to 100%.

Frieza's 100% is like Ussj. It IS a transformation. If it weren't, why would Frieza say that he would use it. When Frieza fights for serious against a Super Saiyan he always uses 100% of his power.
And let's not forget, Frieza isn't a genius. He just transforms and when he does he says ''Now, I am at 100%''. it's just the statement he puts for his transformation.

It is not a transformation. It's just 100% power of his 4th (and final) form. Freeza himself said he only had 2 more transformations after he transformed for the first time.

Yea, I know it's not a transformation like his previous ones, it's ''something'' but it's not a percantage of his use of power. For that I'm certain.

Look, what I meant by transformation could also mean full power/100%. Like Trunks, USSj IS a transformation, though it is ALSO a full power version of ssj.
Wait, a possibility came up in my mind just now! xD

Super Saiyan is a transformation right? So is Frieza's 4th form. So maybe Frieza's ''100%'' is like the way Full Power SSj is for Super Saiyan (In Cell games).
