Why wasn't Kaiosama revived?

Any reason or theory as to why Kaio-sama wasn't revived after he died because Goku teletransported Cell to his planet when he self destructed?

I mean, Goku and Kaio were already communicating with the Z fighters to ask them not to revive Goku, then why didn't they ask them to resuscitate Kaio as well? The others didn't even know what the hell to do with the second wish..

I don't think there was need to revive King Kai since there isn't even difference being death or alive in other world IMO.

First of all, Goku is a jerk sometimes and doesn't CARE about stuff like that.

Second, they didn't think about King Kai at that moment.

I have to say, I'm loving and finding hilarious this "Goku is a jerk" movement going on lately (or maybe I didn't know of it because I just got into the fandom). I don't endorse it myself, or at least not for the reasons everyone else names, but it's just priceless. Like screw Vegeta, Goku is the true antihero y'all :'D

He was pissed of his planet and his car , not about his life ;)

Goku became evil after the Freeza Arc, as if Freeza just beat the Saiyan Instinct that dwelled inside of him out of him. Because after that Goku was just going around letting his son get the spit beat out of him, allowing 1/10th of the population of the Earth to get blown up by Buu, not killing Buu when he knew he had the chance, completely abandom your family to train with a guy you assume to be the reincarnation of an insane wolrd destroy Djinn.

He just didn't care anymore, he'd rather screw the universe up to have a nice fight then actually do anything good.

I guess what should be asked is, what caused Kaioshin not to be revive when they wished that everyone killed by Cell would be revived? Does Shenlong not have power to revive those of Kaio-sama's nature or place or did Kaio-sama just decide "Hey I'm not going to be alive."

Don't forget Goku not letting Krillin kill Vegeta at the end of the Saiyan saga when he posed a certain threat to Earth, just cuz he wanted a rematch.

It's a good point about Kaiosama not being revived by the first wish considering how he died, I thought of that too but I'm not sure if getting caught in the explosion of Cell's self destruction counts as getting killed by him, it could go either way imo.

I vaguely remember an English dub line saying something about how he didn't want to be revived because he wanted to show Goku around Otherworld or something, but I s'pose that's prolly just dub BS since it really doesn't seem to make sense to me...

The Elder Namek died apparently from the stress alone that Freeza caused and the Earth Dragonballs (Weaker than the ones used in the Cell Arc) still had no problem bringing him back to life.

So I see no reason why Kaio-sama, who was directly killed by Cell's explosion, couldn't have been brought back by what would be considered more powerful Dagonballs.

It also makes me think that Otherworld isn't even another dimension, just a really far off place somewhere. If it was a seperate dimension how would Goku even be able to sense Kaio-sama in the first place? It's the same reason nobody can sense anyone in the ROSAT, it's a completely seperate dimension. So that's another strange inconsistency.

Damn this starting to become like the Buu Arc...

Looks like I was right, I was on Kanzenshuu and by luck, I dug up an old thread....someone just so happened to conveniently post this quote (I believe this is Viz):

Goku: "The Lord of Worlds could've come back to life with Shenlong's wish, but he's staying to keep me company."

Dragonball, volume 35, page 134.

Hmm, I was right. Weird. I'm guessing he has to live on his planet or something if he's alive? I dunno. Meh.

(I didn't dig up the thread by luck, haha. I looked for it).

Badass knowledge of DBZ manga Kyouka, I totally missed that and I read it recently.

I don't know if it makes much sense since Kaiosama could have still stayed with Goku in his planet, but it's good it was brought up. Poor Trolliyama deserves a little more faith from his fans <3

@Brofist : Ha it's true, the Elder Guru revival never made much sense to me though, he was an old man and died again about 2 minutes after being revived, it definitely looked like a natural death.
