Is there anyway we can get Hermes' translations on a sticky in the Dragon Ball section? I've suggested it, I'm not sure if anything was done with it or if people are waiting for Hermes' response on whether it was alright or not but it would be great to have. It's something most of us who have been debating for a while use and considering the other vast majority of people are constantly using either terrible online manga translations or even worse, the English Dub... Then I think it would really be helpful if we got those translations, or at least a link to the translations on a sticky for people to see. |

What is this 'Hermes Translation' exactly? Is it like a translated online manga? |

Hermes is a guy greatly respected within the Dragon Ball community and has been doing translation for at least 8 years (And that's just when I knew him, I wouldn't be surprised if he's been doing it for much longer) The Hermes translations of the Japanese manga are much closer to the original Japanese than the translation you'd read on the online manga. It might even be better than the VIZ translations themselves too. He doesn't translate the entire manga, but he translates quite a bit of it and mostly the important details that are pretty much completely wrong in the online manga translations and defintely in the anime. It's something anyone worth their DBZ debating salt uses. |

His name is "Herms". Also you could always just bookmark his thread on Kazenshuu http://www.kanzenshuu.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=15488 |

except many of the people on here don't even know what it is in the first place. Most people don't even have a clue of what the Daizenshuu, Kazenshuu and/or Kazentai is in the first place either. There are so many people that I've seen constantly making mistakes, using the online manga translations and eve using the anime, english dub in fact to back their statements up. Herm's translation might be easy to find but only if you know what your looking for. And it's become qiute obvious that many people on here have no idea what Herm's translations are, which is why we really need a sticky for it.
You can Bookmark using Firefox and you can use Favorites using Explorerer, depending on if your using one of those two. |

On Chrome, there should be this little star on the search bar for URLs, I use that. Edited by Kyouks, Dec 20 2012, 05:36 PM.

I use that too ^ IMO. It would be boring if everyone uses Herms translations, if would be fun if someone uses english dubs or animes in fact to back their statements up |

But Herms translations are the most accurate we've got. If we're going to ignore them for the sole purpose of it being boring then why don't we just take quotes from Naruto and use them in our debates instead, because it would be boring if everyone used DBZ. |
