I always believed Puar was female. Cos I heard Roshi say "she'll be ok." oh well if Puar is a boy then Puar is a boy. |

Maybe Roshi just assumed, because he never took the time before that to find out. |

Pookie Powa!

Yeah, Puar is a male. I remember Yamcha referring Puar as a he as well as Oolong. |

That's still odd to think about. Does he have a girl voice in Japanese? |

It's really high pitched. Don't know if this is indicative of male or female though. Yajirobe sounds like a female in the Japanese version. Edited by GridZero, Jan 15 2013, 04:50 AM.

I guess high pitched could explain it; not every one has a deep voice. And, that's hard to even picture Yajirobe having a female voice. |

If you heard it alone, it'd sound female. But the voice and the animation combined make it genuinely male. |

Honestly I'd say male. Because Toriyama says so and would Oolong bully a girl? Heck would Yamcha even handle a female mammal without panicing? |

I always thought he was a male. He had the affections of a girl towards Yamcha because he was his pet in a way. If AT says hes male then hes male haha, no discussion |

Well Yamcha didn't freak out when he was around Chi Chi, because she was a little girl. I'm sure the same would abide with Puar if it was a girl; possibly being young at that. I never thought of it like that when it comes to Oolong though. I don't think Bulma would of allowed it if that was the case really thinking about it now. |
