Yajirobe vs Saibaman

Posts: 663 Group: Member Member #6,803 Joined: September 28, 2011	From the fight against Cymbal, aside from being more dangerous (which is obvious), it seems Yajirobe becomes faster with the sword, that doesn't make much sense, but I recently thought about it and it looks a lot like Nappa's case in a way, how he wasn't keeping up with Goku before getting focused. Maybe Yajirobe becomes more focused when using the sword? He's never seen without it afterall. Anyway, I'm pretty sure there are no statements that truly gauge Yajirobe's strength at the time (Saiya-jin Saga), aside from him being stronger than Kami. There are a few implications here and there, though. What do you guys think, can he take a saibaman by himself? Edited by Battle Power, Nov 22 2012, 12:44 PM.

Posts: 887 Group: Member Member #8,531 Joined: November 7, 2012	Yamcha and the Saibamen were rivals. Yamcha did a hell of a lot of trainning Yaijorbe sat on his ***** and did little trainning no way is he anywhere near Yamcha's level he probadly isn't even at Chaitozu's level.

Posts: 1,998 Group: Member Member #7,432 Joined: March 11, 2012	Yajirobe is actually pretty powerful character, in dragonball he rivaled Goku's power when they first met without even training. He had all the qualities of a saiyan, the amazing appetite, natural fighting ability but he didn't crave battle like the saiyans. He was a natural talent and even with a bit of training I think he could defeat a saibaman, especially with his sword skill. Edited by Pylons, Nov 22 2012, 01:18 PM.

So, Yajirobe should be around 970, and the Saibaman at 1200. I'm picking the Saibaman to win because he's of course stronger, knows how to use ki, and may be too much for Yajirobe to handle speed or fly wise, but I wouldn't put it pass him being able to slice a slipping one up when he gets a chance.

I used Cymbal as an example that shows Yajirobe is far deadlier when using the sword, which takes me to this question: Are there any implications as to how Yajirobe trained? I mean, with or without the sword? I'm trying to gauge Yajirobe's strength at that point, but maybe there aren't enough leads, in the end it could be just assumption. Posts: 743 Group: Member Member #6,973 Joined: November 12, 2011	Yajiribe's under Saiyan Saga Yamcha who, while more powerful then a Saibaman, still had a somewhat decent fight against it (taking into account that the Saibamen was fighting seriously while Yamcha wasn't). Saibaman wins here (though I'd say Yajirobe takes this any arc after). Yajirobe should be above Chiaotzu Saiyan Saga as well.

I think he could beat Tien's saibaman which wasn't serious at all, he would likely slash and eat him seeing as how he could slice Vegetas armor and was swift enough on his feet to not be heard when he sliced the tail of Vegeta. Now from Yamchas saibaman on he would be in trouble if the battle took to the air or he didn't have his sword, as Vegeta made an example out of Tiens. Yajirobe if he cared to learn how to use ki, let alone trained with King Kai or went to NAmek with Gohan and Krillin and met Guru would be a beast Edited by Kblo247, Nov 23 2012, 09:32 AM.

Yaijrobe is a Super Human who has so much potential , even more potential than Yamcha to become a strong warrior just like Tien and Krillin. If he only trained and took it serious he could've been stronger.
