Several problems with that.

1.) We've seen Gohan transform into SSJ2 at the Budokai and had every single attribute of the SSj2 form, lightning, jagged aura, etc.

2.) In an even shorter time after Gohan's fight with Dabura, we see SSj2 Goku and SSj2 Majin Vegeta fight, both of them share all the attributes of the SSJ2 form.

No matter how you look at it, its nearly impossible for Gohan to be an SSJ2. When he lacks almost all the attributes, and definitely lacks all the important ones (attributes we perfectly see Goku and Vegeta show a few chapters later.) There is no reason for Gohan to lack all those necessary attributes (When we've seen both him in the past and Goku and Vegeta express them.)

SSj Kid Gohan>>SSj Adult Gohan. Simple matter of logic, Gohan was said to have a lost a good deal of power.

Dabura was stated to have the advantage and by his own words, thought Gohan was trash. Gohan still put up a fight though, which means that the difference between Dabura and Gohan can't be that much and therefore, I see no reason to believe that Dabura should be any stronger than SSJ Kid Gohan at his best.

That ignores Goku's whole statement. It's also implied by Goku and Vegeta's reactions to how much weaker Gohan has gotten too if he wasn't at full power aganist Dabura than how would they know he got weaker since the Cell fight?

AT probadly forgot how to draw it when he did the Dabura fight AT isn't perfect he makes mistakes too so unless you want to ignore what the manga says and implies than I think we should go with that being a mistake from AT.

They already know Gohan is weaker when he transformed at the Budokai. Vegeta directly states that Gohan was much stronger as a child he only repeats the same thing when Gohan fights Dabura. As the Fuhrer mentioned, its highly unlikely AT forgot to draw the form (and all of its attributes) especially when he drew them before the fight and shortly afterwards.

Wait on second thought. Dabura called Gohan trash but he was even with him so now I think Dabura was pulling his punches aganist Gohan and there was really a over 2x gap between them. That way I dont contradict AT's writing style and the statements.

Never use the English Dub...ever. Even if the English Dub used the exact same line from the manga...still don't use it. That's how non-canon the English Dub is.
