Peyton Manning current year like Brett Favres magic year with the Vikings?

What do you think? Am I being too far-fetched in the comparison

Peyton Manning? Meh, they've been playing bad teams recently.

He's 2nd for MVP behind Peterson in my opinion. He might be the first QB to ever win a SB with two different teams!

It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

Peyton's great. I have him on my fantasy team. I don't know if he's having as good of a season Favre had, as he had that dismal game against the Falcons and looked on and off earlier in the year. But, he should finish the year out strong and they could possibly go 11-5 or 12-4. With McGahee out, though, it might be a little harder. They got a damn easy schedule though.

Any position other than QB is never gonna win MVP again unfortunately. So AP is out. Could be Brees if they keep playing the way they have. It's way too early to tell.

It could potentially be AP, but, I think he's probably gonna only win the Comeback Player of the Year Award.

Then again, they both qualify for both awards.

QB's have won it 10 of the last 12 years. LT and Shaun Alexander were the exception because they broke the TD records. CJ ran for 2000 and didnt win in it. So unless Adrian breaks some kind of record, he wont win it. It will go to the QB of the best team at the end of the season like always. I wish it wasn't that way, but its just the way she goes.

CJ didn't make the playoffs and I think they ad a losing record. If AP keeps up what he's doing and they make playoffs I think he'll win.

I think it's betwen Drew Brees and Adrian Peterson for MVP. Look at the impact those two have on there teams. The Vikings are literally garbage without Peterson.

Drew Brees isnt even in the conversation. Manning vs AP. I don't know who I want to win it more. I think AP should get MVP and Manning comeback player? I'm not sure. I would be happier if the packers just let him run for 9 more friggin yards lol

Nah Adrian Peterson is going to win both. I don't see how they can give him one and Manning the other.

Why not? I think that's fair but really it's just tough. Both had good seasons by far individually

It's basically a slap in the face. So I rushed for 2,000 yards, single handedly took my team tot he playoffs, and didn't win comeback player of the year, but I won MVP? The *****?

Or: So I come off of a major neck injury, lead my team to best record in the NFL, and I win comeback player of the year but not MVP? The *****?
