This fanfic takes place after the death of Goku and Gohan in Future Trunks' timeline. I decided to show what I have written in the past. I hope you enjoy Pain and Sorrow Chapter 1: A current occurrence at Fire Mountain were the anguish screams of a woman who had lost everything. The screams had come from the white castle that had been rebuild for the third time. Villagers had become accustomed to listening the cries of their princess. Their King, Ox King, had advised his villagers that this would be a common situation until the pains of sorrow had softened. However, as each day passed, Ox King was uncertain if they would ever disappear. His daughter, Chichi, tossed and turned in bed every night. Today was the same as every night. Chichi, once again, was having a nightmare from losing her family. Their faces would haunt her dreams. It had been recent that she had lost Gohan where only three years prior to that she had lost her husband Goku. Screams of anguish and tears of sadness washed down her cheeks. Ox King, her father, had rushed into her large room to comfort her as he always had done. When he rushed into the room, he did not sit on the bed because his large size. Conversely, he bent over to touch her forehead. "Chichi wake up." Ox King said in a concerned tone as a caring father would. The once proud Chichi had been broken by these events that had occurred in her life. All the swerving did nothing in her sleep. She let out one last scream of frustration as she sat up from her terrible nightmare. She looked around frantically to see if Goku/Gohan were back, but every day it had become the same. They were gone....forever. Cold sweat glimmering on skin, lungs expanding rapidly, a heart that shook with angst, and a face struck with defeat, Chichi saw the person who had come to comfort her. It was her father like he always had. She covered her face with her hands and began sobbing as she always had. "Oh Poppa....." Her voice was one that could break anyone's heart. IF she wasn't strong, she probably would have had a heart attack from the amount of stress that was placed on her body. The tears that she had allowed fall down her cheeks were dripping onto the bed as her sweat was. Ox King wanted to relieve his daughter's pain anyway he could, but he had failed miserably. He patted her on the back to allow her to feel the warmth of someone's hand. None of this seemed to help her though. She was someone who had lost everything that was important to her. Ox King understood this because he too had lost his wife early in his life. The sobbing was one that could be heard echoing against the walls of the castle. She felt her father's warm hand placed upon her back, but it did not help. Only two people in her life could comfort the heart break she had been feeling. Both Goku and Gohan, but it was an impossible medicine because they were both gone forever. She loved her father dearly, yet none of his comfort had helped. Not wanting to hide her face behind her hands anymore, she let them fall to her knees. Her arms had hugged her knees as her tear-stricken eyes were the only light that was being shined into the room. It was the moon that had allowed her eyes to glitter as they did. Every feature of sadness had been highlighted some way or another to show how much pain Chichi had suffered. "T...t..the pain w.w.w.w.will never go away FATHERRRRRRRRRRR!" She screamed in agony as her both of her hands slammed onto the bed with strength. The strength was not as much as it could be though for she had not eaten in days. Her eyes took one glance at her father Ox King. Despite her rage, she understood her father had no control over how she was feeling. She saw the concerned expression on his face. Guilt filled her heart because it was not her father's fault she had lost everything. Her body relaxed just to ease the tension in the room. The loud gasps of air she had exhaled were under control at the moment. "Why did they have to die?" She asked in a soft voice that hinted at some sort of relief. Once again, her eyes shifted to her father. Her black eyes had hope that her father could explain to her why. The stare she had on her father could pierce through anyone's soul. Her wild, black hair had fallen in front of her shoulders and chest. Ox King had a difficult time responding to his daughter's question. He wanted to ease her pain. Her black eyes reminded him so much of her mother. They were eyes that most could not deny or even attempt to refuse. Ox King too had suffered with the loss of his son in law and grandson, but he knew their death was for the better of the planet. He once again, had to explain it to his daughter who did not seem to understand. He also wanted her to be proud of them as he had been. "They died because they are heroes dear. Their death was to protect you and the Earth." Ox King tried again to reach to Chichi's core. Heroic? Protection? Her eyes shot a glare into the window that was opened. A sudden rage developed in her body. Her family always saved those around her, but what about her? Now she was left with this burden. This pain that could never go away. The stars were glimmering in the night sky, but this did not deter her from rushing to the window and releasing the rage she had with the world, her husband, and her son. "I told you all this would happen. I told you! Is this the Earth you wanted for me Goku? Gohan? You wanted me to be in this suffering pain! You were always risking your lives, and now that both of you are gone. NO ONE REMEMBERS ANY OF YOU TWO. ONLY I am here to suffer what is left of your legacies! YOU SAVED THEM ALL EXCEPT FOR MEEEE!" Her fist pointed to the sky. She shouted into the sky as if the heavens could hear her. No longer was she able to contain herself calm. A random chair that was by the window was her victim. A woman's who heart was in pieces was never easy to tame. Her hands grabbed the chair and slammed it into the ground in a fit of rage. Ox King witnessed the whole scene unfold with fear. He had never seen his daughter lose it as she had this night. He watched as she broke the chair with little effort. Seeing his daughter being uncontrollable, he rushed to ease her pain. He went to grab her, but she had already fallen. "All I wanted was us to be a happy family together....that is all I wanted..." She placed her hands on her face. Her exhaustion took over as she had eaten very little, hadn't slept, and had exerted her energy in slamming the chair. She fell onto her knees and began to sob again. Her sobbing had been a common occurrence in her mourning. The Ox King watched his daughter rage as never before. He attempted to think of a solution to ease her suffering. It was then that he remembered they shared a favorite song together. The song was called "Dancing on the Moon." As bad as Ox King was at singing, he began to sing it in his deep, humble voice. It seemed to ease his daughter's sobbing because she began to stop. Chichi who was now on her knees heard a soothing voice sing the song she had come to enjoy since she was a child. However, the song made her pain worse. She was not keen on knowing about her husband's race or what her son had inherited. The moon song had reminded her the many times Goku had requested they sleep when there was a full moon outside. They always went to bed early, and she never got to experience the sight of the moon with her family. It was no surprise to her that Goku had been different. Since he was a child, he had a tail. Regardless, his tail never bothered her. She did know about the giant, ape transformation because of what she had been told by Goku when someone named Vegetable and Nappa came to Earth. Goku was one who liked to joke around. She never took Goku's story seriously enough. Once again the painful memories of her family had emerged, they had happy moments together, but very sad ones as well. Now she was the sole survivor of the Son family left with the burden and pain of losing all of them. The more her father sung the more tense she became. She could not stand having the memories surge into her brain. With this extra motivation to ease her suffering, she stood onto her feet and pressed her hand to her father's stomach. I'm sorry for causing you so much pain. I am leaving Poppa....I don't know when I will be back. You need to trust me that this is for the better." Chichi knew what it was being a parent having to let go of a child. Deep down she did not want to cause her father any more suffering. Having some separation and alone time, would be best for her health as of her father's. Her father had no chance to reply. The second she had finished her sentence, she darted out of the door. No clothes, no weapons, and no extra things to weigh her down were taken. She dashed outside the front gates of the castle and sped down the dirt path that led to her village. With her super human abilities, she was capable of leaving the village within seconds that she had spoken. The same dirt path that she had met Goku as a child was the one she was running on at this moment. The night sky glimmered with stars. It was dark and dangerous, but no fear had come across Chichi's heart. She never looked back even though tears were streaking down her face. It was time to rid of the pain now or never. Her purpose had to be discovered or else she would suffer forever. End Chapter 1 Edited by Pookie, Dec 28 2012, 03:03 AM.

Chapter 2 The Dream to Destiny An eerie silence enveloped the darkness that was now present. A legend, a warrior, and a loving husband crouched down in the darkness. His voice was an echoing whisper that sounded as if it were mystical. The man crouched down the fallen beauty who was asleep and completely exhausted. "Chichi, honey wake up." Concerned about her state he nudged her several times to get her to wake up. Once again, he called her name. "Come on, Chichi. You're stronger than this." His voice was a familiar sound that had startled the princess who lay on the ground in defeat. The fallen princess was Chichi. The voice rung through her ears. Slowly, her eyes blinked open. There, standing before her, was her husband crouched down alongside her with a look of concern. His worried expression quickly changed to a smile when he had seen that she had awaken. Confusion struck on Chichi. Was this a dream? All around her she saw blackness. It was Goku and herself together in a dream like world. She wanted to talk, but nothing had come to her voice. The rage and anger she felt were replaced with tears of joy. She wanted to talk, yet for some reason she could not. "I've missed you Chichi." Goku said as he remained crouch next to her. His hand went to reach for her face, but he stopped inches from touching her cheek because he knew he could not touch her. A look of frustration came upon his face which was rare for even Goku's standards. He knew he had a mission to complete with this state. Chichi closed her eyes for an instant as Goku had attempted to touch her cheek. She felt nothing. Her eyes opened again to stare at Goku. Confusion remained apparent in her bewildered expression. Chichi wanted to say something, however, her voice was not present. "Shh, don't talk Chichi. I don't have enough time. I need to tell you something that is very important so I need you to listen." Goku remained crouched next to her to be eye level. "I wanted to tell you that I am sorry for everything that I have put you through. I've protected you anyone and anything, but the worst pain you suffered was not from any of those monsters...it was from me." He closed his eyes in seriousness and then opened them to confront her. "I know I haven't always been the best husband, but I want you to know that everything I did was for you and our family. I wanted to protect you so you could live an easier life than I had when I was growing up." He pressed his hand to the ground to represent that he truly meant what he said. "Every time I was on those missions to namek. I thought of you and our home. Chichi..I love you. My love will never change, and I will always be looking over you." There was more so he inched his face closer. He knew that what he had to say after his apology was more important than his personal feelings. "I'm here because you are one of the last hopes of Earth. I realize I can't protect you anymore. IT'S SUCH A WASTE" He clenched his fist in frustration, but had to relax in order to get everything he wanted to say across. "This is the only way I can protect yo now. Gohan can't protect you anymore. The Earth needs someone to look after it. I know how special you are. YOU know how special you are. It's time for you to realize your true potential." Chichi listened to what Goku said. A look of frustration started to appear on her face, but what would happen next would shock her. Goku knew how stubborn his wife was. The expression on her face proved it. This time he was the one to be aggressive and to put his foot down. He raised his voice to her something he had never done while alive. "Darn it Chichi! You are so much more than you allow yourself to be! Fighting is in your blood your soul. I look at your eyes and I see your hunger for more. You can't escape it. There is only one person who can help this Earth and that is you. I want you to be able to protect yourself. Raise up! Rise above! Be the special woman I always knew you to be." Goku's voice was extremely passionate. He almost croaked as he was talking because it involved all his feelings. Chichi eyes softened. She looked down at the ground. Many years had gone by where she felt something inside of her that was more, yet she kept it aside for the sake of her family. Now that they were gone, Goku's words had hit her hard. Finally, her voice had been able to speak. "I love you..." She whispered to Goku and then her hand grasped the grass. Goku's face softened at her words. His eyes studied her He knew she needed time to heal. "I know you do. I'm always watching from above. Just promise me you'll keep fighting. Carry on the legacy of the son family as your proper place amongst the great warriors." His voice had calmed down. "My heart is with you" Goku said one last time. He wanted to caress her hair, but he knew it would be impossible. There was no more talking. Goku's head snapped to the right where he sensed a presence. "Stay away from her!" Goku growled in anger. He stood up and placed himself in a protective stance in front of Chichi. Chichi's innocent, but saddened eyes focsed on what Goku had said. Then, she noticed how he had become more aggressive as if he was about to fight. Chichi could not see what he was talking about. In a bright ray of light, Goku had transformed into something with gold hair about to strike down whoever was willing to attack her. However, the black room that the two star crossed lovers were in had vanished....for Chichi had been asleep the whole time..... Chapter 2 End |

Chapter 3 The Old Hermit's Sorrow and New Beginning Master Roshi had remained on his island for the years that have passed. He sat inside in his kitchen. For once, he was not looking at dirty magazines. Rather, he was having a serious conversation with Oolong and the Turtle. The always playful Master Roshi was no longer his dirty self. He had matured from the havoc that had been caused on Earth. He had been heart broken for every one of his pupils had died. Grandpa Gohan, Goku, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Chaoitzu...had all been a part of his school in one way or another. In a way, they were like his children. He had watched them grow up and gave them the lessons they would carry for the rest of their lives. Now all of them were dead. "The fact is Oolong there are no more pupils of mine that can help the Earth." His fist slammed onto the table. He had wished he was young again. Though he drank from the fountain of youth, he still had aged significantly. Oolong had been sipping hot cocoa. His ears had drooped slightly. He had been close to all of the people Master Roshi had mentioned. Then he thought about himself. If there was no one to protect Earth, he would be the first to die. "Oh just my luck. Who will save my skin now?" Oolong glanced at the turtle. The turtle was not as easily convinced as Master Roshi. "I'll have to suit up again." Master Roshi said, but the turtle raised his fin in defiance. "Roshi you know you can't do that. You won't last five seconds against the opponents." Turtle was a long time friend of Roshi who had always told the truth. The three of them let out a sigh of defeat as this conversation was going no where. Was there really no hope? The biggest blow to the Earth had been losing Goku. Master Roshi stared out the window with sorrow. Behind his dark glasses he almost had shed a tear. His best pupil had been defeated before the battle had begun. Fate always had its way of making things bad when situations were meant to be good. "There really is no one else left." Roshi said in a shaky tone. Whatever would attack the Earth next would certainly get its way. "You're wrong Master Roshi." A voice said in a powerful, yet determined tone. Master Roshi attempted to wipe his glasses as his best pupil had appeared before his eyes. It was just a vision. It had to be for the man who stood before him was none other then Goku. "You're dead..." Goku placed his head behind his head and let out a childish laughter to show that it was him. "Oh yeah I am dead, but King Kai gave me the chance to talk to you about something important after I gave him a good joke. Master Roshi could not believe his eyes. However, being the master he was, he became serious. Whatever Goku had to say was important. Goku too had become serious as the situation was dire. "You're wrong Roshi. Not all your pupils are dead. In fact, the most determined one is still alive. "You mean Gohan?" Master Roshi knew Gohan had learned some tricks from his school, but it was mostly from Piccolo who Gohan had learned from. Goku smiled again. "Close, but no. She..." He emphasized SHE. "She isn't as physically strong as Gohan or myself, but she is more determined and has the fire inside her heart to be great. She just doesn't know it yet. Master Roshi blinked behind his glasses. "She? I've never trained a female student before." Goku arched his eyebrow and then smiled sheepishly again. "Not directly, but you once trained her father. Oh....and she is the only one who can make a super saiyan tremble in his boots? You know who she is." Goku once again chuckled at his comment because it had been Roshi who had said it. Master Roshi jumped up from his seat when he realized who GOku had been talking about. Goku was right. Roshi had trained Ox King. He had completely forgotten about his 2nd pupil who trained alongside Grandpa Gohan. Ox King was large and powerful, but Goku was not talking about Ox King. Roshi too had remembered Chichi had been trained in the turtle hermit style. She was a good fighter, but what Goku was suggesting was ridiculous. "You are willing to put her in danger?" Goku's face became serious again as that comment from his former Master had hurt him. He would never wish harm upon his wife. "Search your feelings Master. You know this is the only hope. I've had to fight with it myself, but she is or final hope for Earth. Don't let your eyes blind you Roshi. Yo know as well as I do that she is special. I've just never forced her into anything. She wants it..I know she does." Roshi remained silence because he thought back to Chichi. He had rarely talked to her, but he knew that she had a great history. Her mother had never been talked about by Ox King. However, when Roshi mentioned she was a good fighter, there was a reason. Like Goku, Roshi knew of her potential. It was odd for him to accept that a female could be a special as Chichi was. "Goku lets say that is true. I have sensed her potential before..." Goku placed his hand up to allow himself to speak. "I've thought about this for a long time. Roshi the power that Gohan often displayed was not JUST from me. He may have got my strength, but his hidden potential was from Chichi. There is no denying that. You have to look past her exterior. She is a warrior in her heart. I've always known it. I just wanted a better life for her. Continuing her training is the only way she can be safe and the earth." Master Roshi had known this. However, he had no idea how he would approach Chichi. "Are you sure...? I don't know how she will take it." Goku nodded while keeping his intense stare. "I've never been more certain about anything in my life. You HAVE TO do this. She is down right now, but I know how determined she is. She will break through her pain and rise above. You have to believe in her roshi as I do." Goku wanted this terribly. His time had run out. The last thing he left for Roshi was the place where Chichi wold be. "Believe in her.." Goku said as his body disappeared. Master Roshi was left thinking to himself as he knew where Chichi was at the moment. He had a mission, a purpose in life. It just took him a couple of moments to soak it all in. He knew the vision was not fake. Goku had been his long time pupil so he knew what Goku was capable of. BOth Oolong and turtle were bewildered by Roshi speaking to himself. They thought Roshi had lost it. Chapter 3 End Edited by Pookie, Nov 14 2012, 05:41 PM.

Chapter 4 Lost and Found A foggy night had taken over the scene. Darkness faded from a fallen princess' slumber. Her body lay on a dirt, rocky ground. A cold, wetness lapped against the woman's cheek. The broken heart belonged to the woman whose name was Chichi. The last thing she remembered from both outside her life and inside her slumber was her husband's aggression towards something or someone. A wet substance remained present against her cheek. The icky sensation was not the one that had sprung her from her slumber. As if from a terrible nightmare, Chichi awoke with a violent jerk. Light perspiration formed on her forehead from the sudden movement and the intense emotions she was feeling. "Goku?" Her voice called for him. No one answered back. No one had responded to Chichi's hopeful cry. Her hopeful cry for her husband was as if she had her heart on a thin string that was fragile. Anything could send her back to her painful existence. At this moment, she truly felt as if there was a glimmer of hope that her life would be as it once was. Once again...nothing. No one had responded. Not a soul. Her heart had been brought back to a cold, harsh reality. A reality she wished she could escape from. Even at a full sprint, she had not escaped from it. It would forever remain present inside of her. The truth of her reality was that her whole family was dead. What she seen of her husband was merely a teasing dream. Tears started to form in her eyes again as they had done habitually in the past. Two years of constant crying had been her reality. A reality that she wished was a dream like the one she had just dreamed of with Goku. This situation was too much for her to handle. It seemed like a hole she could not dig out from. Somehow a light of hope continued to remain in her broken heart. An sensation of determination pushed her to keep going with life even if it had thrown her the worst it could. It was unlike to her to ever give up. If she did not give up, what else did she have? Why was she so stubborn to the point that determination had remained one of her highlighting traits. No one had passed through Chichi's area in hours. Her mind had been too occupied to notice where she had been seated. Still seated on a dirt road she once again felt something touch her cheek. Watery eyes were close to releasing a waterfall of teardrops. There was nothing that could stop the from flowing except a friend. She had been so focused on her pain and torment, which was furthered pushed on by the dream, that she had not noticed the purple dragon who had been beside her the whole time she had been knocked out. "RRR" The purple dragon pounced in front of Chichi's black, teary eyes. For the past two hours, the dragon had waited beside Chichi in hopes that she would awake. He knew who she was from memory though he had seen her just two or three times. The dragon had recognized her to be Gohan's mother. Regardless of his differences with Chichi, he wanted to get her attention. It was unlikely, Chichi had noticed or remembered that he was once Gohan's pet dragon Ickerus. Secretly, this is what Ickerus wanted. The last thing Chichi needed was more stress caused by him. He was an intelligent dragon who knew more about human emotions than most gave him credit for. Chichi wiped her wet nose with her finger. Her eyes momentarily closed as she had done it to keep herself from crying. In a way, the licking from the dragon, who she had not yet noticed, had relaxed her pain momentarily. She was unaccustomed to crying in front of anyone or anything. The last time she remembered being saddened was shen she was a little girl. However, her martial arts training with her father had toughened her. Crying for a strong woman was the last resort which often hurt her soul to the core. Though her depressive state was justified, it brought her insecurities to the surface. The insecurity of being alone. Fogginess and all Ickerus kept his cool in the situation. He gave Chcihi all the time she needed to gather herself. Finally, Chichi's attention went to the purple dragon. Had it been him the whole time licking her face? Normally, she would have been sickened by the sensation, but somehow his disgusting show of affection had comforted her. Both of them were alone during a very foggy, silent night. The dragon was determined to help her get to her feet. She felt his nuzzle nudge her side. Her hand lightly swatted him away. As bad as it was for her to be alone in a gloomy night, it was what she wanted. Her personal feelings wanted to be in danger just to get her mind of her nightmarish life. What had been a fairy tale in her youth had become something she never thought could happen. Was it true that fairy tales only happened in books? She wished someone would have told her that. Now it was too late. The dangerous night was nothing compared to what her life had turned into. A train wreck was not even close. None of the creatures in existence could inflict such pain or cause her life to become worse than what she had already endured. She had nothing to lose. Ickerus watched the range of emotions that had come across Chichi's face. He watched closely over her to keep her company. It is what she most needed right now. Seeing that she had become uncomfortable with how close he was, he did her a favor by giving her some breathing room. Ickerus stepped back momentarily. Once again, Chichi's gaze had drifted to her surroundings. She did look like a zombie except with more emotion than just anger. Her anger was replaced with a pessimistic expression. If he could get her to smile, it would be the accomplishment of the century. At this point, he had no idea if she would ever smile again. Like Chichi, his stubbornness had kicked in. The area they were in was too risky for her to stay crying in. He cared for her safety so he realized he had to get her up onto her feet. He hopped up and down for more attention. Failure to uplift his family member emotionally and physically was not an option. In a way, Ickerus was saying. "Come on Chichi. You're stronger than this!" "Shoo" Chichi's hand once again tried to push the dragon away. He did not want to leave her side, and she started to get that notion. Chichi remained seated on the dirt, ground, which was a road for all types of vehicles. It was not uncommon for vehicles to travel through this area. However, at this time of night, no one was out taking a joy ride because of obvious reasons, but here was Chichi who had not thought about any of that. She remained seated. The dragon pestered her more Annoyance had become her emotion. The dragon's resistance to her swatting him away was too much for her to handle as was her painful reality. So much was it for her to handle that she let herself give into the dragon's pleading. Giving in, was extremely difficult for her head strong personality to do. Having not eaten or rested well took its toll on her patience. Her patience had run thin so she reverted her attention to her surroundings. {How long did I run for? Where am I?} The location was unfamiliar to her despite having traveled to many areas as a child. Had she really run that far? She never recalled being that fast. Then again she had been angry and frustrated. There was no telling how far her frustration could get her. The dragon's insistence for her to get up was answered. Being tough always, she rose to her feet without the aid of the pestering dragon who right now was her only companion. She would rather not think about how dire her life had become that currently she was befriending a creature. A crowd should have applauded at Chichi's bravery for standing back onto her feet despite her exhaustion. The fight she had inside was impossible to ignore. Her hands wiped the dirt off her butt and back. Even though she had slept on the ground, her appearance remained civilized. There were no mirrors or anything around, but her appearance was the last aspect she cared for. Ickerus wanted to applaud for Chichi's bravery, and he was the one who was smiling even though he was a dragon. Once again, his blue eyes were gazing at her with hope. Hope that she would once again look at him. Stubbornness was the black, haired beauty's best trait, but that emotion was thrown to the waste side like a piece of used paper. The dragon's resistance had kicked her toughness to the side. Her fallen emotions had left her open to anything. How was he able to convince her so easily ? Reluctantly, Chichi's gaze shifted to the dragon's blue eyed stare. Right now she was a woman desperate for direction even if it meant resorting to a creature. "Do you know where I am?" She had to combat her stubbornness to ask help from a PURPLE, dragon. End Chapter 4 |

Chapter 5 Some Hope The question Chichi had asked had to be thought of in her mind several times because it was hard for her to grasp the notion that she had actually asked a creature for assistance. Creatures of any sort were better left alone according to her philosophy. The situation she was in where she was both lost and confused had allowed her rough interior to make an exception. She needed guidance from anything or anyone because if there was a mountain to climb, she was at the bottom of in some cases, underground. A dream with her husband Goku was not sufficient to uplift her spirits. If he had purposely done it, he had caused her to feel worse. She caught herself drifting with thoughts again. The dragon had yet to answer her question, and she wanted to hit herself for being dumb enough to believe a purple dragon could assist her. Ickerus thought none of it. He punced with glee as Chichi rose to her feet. He nudged her hand to comfort her aching heart. He could sense the turmoil within her heart even the resent she had for him. This did not deter him from leaving her side. Nothing ever would. As Gohan's personal pet and close friend, it was his duty to help Gohan's family anyway he could. It was his way for paying Gohan back for saving him and his home a long time ago. Right as Chichi had asked him a question, he had to react to her needs right away. He knew he was playing with fire, and the last thing he wanted was to get burned. Rather then guide Chichi to another location, Ickerus let out a loud growl as if he were calling for someone. Gohan would have known this, but Chichi was clueless about how animals communicated. The pressure was on for Ickerus to find help. Fortunately, he had known someone in the area that had purposely let go of Ickerus go to get some exercise. Ickerus, though Gohan's pet, had found another home to belong to. He had missed the company of a companion, but since Gohan had disappeared, Ickerus no longer had that friendship he yearned for. Saddened by Gohan's disappearance Ickerus had drifted away from the Son Family house to find a home for himself. Ickerus eventually did find another home. He had a new owner who had taken him in. The friendship was not the same that he had with Gohan because Gohan would forever be in the dragon's heart. However, the boy Ickerus was with now had given Ickerus a sense of belonging again. Now it was Ickerus' turn to help Chichi find a sense of belonging somewhere in the world. He did not want her to be alone. This is why he was growling with enthusiasm. He knew his new friend would help him as he always had. The exhausted Chichi hunched her shoulders in tiredness. As much as she wanted to complain, she couldn't. There was no use for the dragon had too much energy. Why was the dragon making so much noise? She did not understand what the dragon was doing. She did not understand animals like her husband and son did. It was not her power, and she was glad it wasn't. These creatures would drive her even more mad and probably make herself think she is mentally unstable. What was worse is that the dangerous area was alerted to their location. IF there were beasts in the area, they certainly heard everything. She did welcome the treacherous beasts, but not like this. What Ickerus dreaded was the flame burning him, which it was close to doing so. He sensed Chichi's urgency and frustration. It was only a matter of time before she'd explode like a ticking time bomb. However, this time bomb had no strength at the moment to cause any real damage. Chichi could not take this anymore. She had to let her frustration be known. "Ugh...stop that! You want to wake up the entire world? I should have known better then to trust a...." Fatigued and confused Chichi had no strength to put any emphasis in her tone of voice. A shout from her currently was a little louder than a whisper. No one who knew her recently could have believed her voice could have quieted this much. It could barely be heard. Ickerus head turned when he heard leaves crumpling. Chichi's insult, though heard, did not bother him one bit. He was already used to her temperament especially her explosive temper. One thing was for sure he was happy. His happiness came from the fact that Chichi had not yet recognized him. This lack of recognition was for the safety of both himself and herself. She needed all the help she could get. The noise that was being made by someone coming had been silent, but Ickerus was already wagging his tail in anticipation. Several, quiet seconds went by. It seemed like an eternity for a frustrated Chichi who had not noticed the sound being made. Her emotions had minimized her external senses like sound to its worst. More seconds ticked by, but the elongated silence would be broken by a voice. A teenage boy's voice had made its way through the fog to where Chichi and Ickerus were standing. The voice shouted for Ickerus to get his attention. By the way Ickerus was wagging his tail, Chichi sensed that the voice was someone who Ickerus knew. Good for Ickerus that someone had come or Chichi would have lost it. "Where are ya buddy? " The teenager's voice called for Ickerus with suspense. "I can't see anything in this fog." Ickerus hopped up and down while growling in excitement. His growling would lead the teenage boy to them as it often did when Ickerus traveled in this area. The boy knew it well so for him this place was easy to navigate through. Despite Chichi's terrible night which included a frustration and annoying dragon, a sense of relief flowed through her veins and to her pain stricken heart. A voice unfamiliar to her had called to the purple pest. This help she had received from a creature had won him some points from her. Winning any points from her for anyone, was a rare feet. Somehow the dragon had all the odds against him, yet had won over her trust and respect. Respect was the most important thing Chichi could give someone, and Ickerus had deserved it. No more silence was in the area. The boy was certain that he had heard Ickerus. He made his way to them. He walked to the exact location having heard his dragon companion growl for his assistance. There was no confirmation on what the boy looked like until he cleared the fog. A charming smile spread across the boy's face when he spotted Ickerus, who in turn, had been hopping with anticipation. "What do ya got this time buddy?" The boy was friendly and pleased to see his companion was okay. Often the boy wondered where Ickerus traveled to. Even in the darkest of times, Ickerus and the boy always managed to find each other. They had that connection. Ickerus wagged his tail at his friend's question. He did not point to Chichi at all though because it was only a matter of time before the boy had spotted Chichi next to Ickerus. Without Ickerus responding, the boy turned his gave to the woman. his eyes widened with shock. Sometimes Ickerus would bring a stick or some kind of toy, but Ickerus had outdone himself this time. The woman who stood before him was clearly older, but not in a bad way. She was not a mess despite having been traveling the night. Despite her clean exterior, he could tell she was exhausted. "I'm sorry ma'm for my rudeness." The boy took of his hat and patted it to greet the woman. "I live in a village not far from here. You're not from around here are you?" The boy stared at the ground with shyness. He was not used to talking to women especially older women. He also wanted to appear as friendly as possible because it was clear to him that the dragon had called for his assistance. Curiosity for the boy's sudden appearance from the fog, was in Chichi's black, orbed eyes. The boy was taller than her despite being in his mid teens. His height resembled that of her husband's and son's before they had past away. Her thoughts were drifting again, but it was the dragon who nudged her back to reality. The extra nudge had caused her to remember her morals. She was taught good manners by her father the Ox King. These manners remained her priority despite her personal issues that currently poisoned her insides. Out of respect for the teenage boy's kindness, she clasped her hand and bowed her head forward as ancient martial artists and princesses were taught to do so. "It is good to see your presence. My name is Chichi. I'm afraid I'm lost." Not much conversation was put into Chichi's comment. She was in no mood to talk with anyone much less a teenage boy. The dragon had both saved her from being lost and forced her into an uncomfortable situation. The boy was once again taken back from the formal way Chichi introduced herself. This was definitely not something he had seen every day especially for a kid his age. Girls his age or in this day and age were more about saying hello than actually bowing. Then again the only time he had seen that type of respect was from royalty, but there was no such thing anymore...or was there? Chichi watched closely to the boy's reaction. She sensed a bit of awkwardness from the boy. Was her bowing too much? Now and days she did not know the trend of how to greet people. Regardless, she would not change her ways for anyone. It was engraved in her childhood. The boy had broken the silence and weird situation. "It is a pleasure to meet you Chichi. Don't worry about a thing. It is no problem. Let me take you to a village, my village. We have a great restaurant. I know you'd like it. You're probably hungry too because I can hear your stomach growling." He patted Ickerus' head as a thank you very much for finding Chichi. The boy had good intentions, but his intentions were a bit stretched. He really did want her to get some food and some rest. However, his hormones betrayed him. Being a teenage boy, he had his reputation to think of as well. This is why he had mentioned "restaurant" as a formal way of speaking. What he really meant was something different. A woman's intuition was hard to trick, but in this case, Chichi didn't trust anything her gut was saying. Her gut was pushing her to stay behind. For a moment, she thought it may have been the dream Goku doing it, but he was gone now so that idea was shoved aside. Her gut wanted her to refuse the offer. It was like a inner battle she was having. Something, unexplainable in her mind, overpowered her gut instinct and had her agree to the boy's offer. "Okay. I will go with you, but no funny business or else..." She warned with a harsh tone. It was true that she was fatigued, but even in her current state, she could take out a normal human with no fighting experience out with no problem. The ever changing moods of Chichi took the boy back. It made her unpredictable. A fierceness in her tone sent a chilling sensation down his spine. "Uh...there won't be I promise." He gulped as he spoke. What he had planned for CHichi was more than dinner. Hopefully, she wouldn't hurt him for it. To his surprise, she agreed. Chichi nodded calmly in agreement to the boy's offer. Trust was now placed with the boy which could easily be broken especially in Chichi's unstable state. Together they traveled in the foggy night towards the boy's village. Chapter 5 End |

Chapter 6 Master Roshi's and Star Pupil Master Roshi's Point of View: Master Roshi had tightened a tie around his neck. He had to look extra snazzy for the area Goku had shown him to go. "You are going to be the death of me one day Goku. You are sending an old man to a dangerous place to his health. There better be some pretty ladies at the area you are sending me to." Master Roshi had got his pervertedness back because of where he was being sent. only Goku was to blame for this. Yes, Goku had sent Master Roshi to a place where single people, teenagers, etc were hanging out. How could Chichi possibly be there? The last thing Master Roshi heard of Chichi is that she was in mourning. What Goku had told Roshi had alerted him to Chichi's condition. Not just that, but Goku wanted Roshi to keep a low profile and to watch what Chichi did until the moment was right. Something was not right about all of this. Oolong too was getting prepared. He put some cologne on because one never knew when misses right was around the corner. "Oh boy I hope there are some pretty ladies where we are going. I can't believe Goku is sending you to that spot." Roshi had told the turtle and oolong everything about his conversation with Goku. It didn't surprise Oolong because Goku had always done crazy things like that. Meanwhile on King Kai's Planet. Goku had been frustrated by the lack of things he was able to accomplish. Not only had the dream confused Chichi, but now she was walking in harm's way. "Darn! It wasn't enough time! Kai you have to let me see what happens. If you let me do this, I'll wash the dishes for the next year. Promise. This is for the Earth. Please King Kai." Goku's childish ways existed, but for the good of humanity. King Kai had been Goku's long time friend and guidance counselor. He looked at Goku's focus and concern. It was hard to deny Goku's pleading as well as seeing him wash the dishes that were always piled up. "You know I can't be doing that Goku....but lets add the fact that you wash the dishes, wash bubbles, and cook into the mix and I'll let you act as a guardian for today." Goku did not bother even thinking about the other things added. He nodded in agreement. "Thanks King Kai!" Goku, though he could not act, would be able to guide Master Roshi to Chichi. Roshi, being in tune with superior senses, would be able to see "I still can't believe Goku talked me into doing this. How am I supposed to focus?" Master Roshi was done with his tie. He grabbed his hat and looked to Oolong who was also ready. The turtle would stay to watch over the Kame house. As if on cue, Goku appeared before Master Roshi. Roshi was the only one who could see Goku. He would be the guardian for Roshi to make sure things went as planned. It was Kai's grant that had allowed Goku to do this. A chuckle sounded in Roshi's ears. "Sorry Master Roshi, but blame Chichi for this one. She is headed there right now. You have to get there or else it can be really bad." Roshi heard Goku's voice again and then had seen him in front of him. Even Roshi's eyes could not get used to this. Like a master he was, he played it cool. "You could have given me more warning about this Goku. I don't think I'll be used to seeing you like that." He said as he started leaving the island. He had to use a spinning turtle to do this because the nimbus would not let him ride on it. Oolong had to find his own way of travel. Goku's laughter turned to seriousness. "King Kai gave me this chance to guide you. If we don't do this, both Chichi and Earth can be destroyed. You have to get there soon" His voice sounded more panicky than usual. Master Roshi noticed this. "What is this really about Goku?" Goku couldn't hide anything from Roshi and he was not the one to lie. "Someone dangerous is on Earth. I felt his presence from King Kai's Planet. He is going to be where Chichi is grr.." Goku started to growl and his fist clenched. "I don't know what his intentions are, but I know they aren't good. She won't be able to fend him off...." Roshi touched his beard in concern. Chichi was a good friend of his even though he rarely talked to her. Goku was right about her having potential, but what worried Roshi was the amount of instinct he had lost that he could no longer sense beings. "This could be bad..." How did Roshi not feel this presence? Was he that out of tune with his senses that he did not see it? Goku sensed Roshi's uneasiness, and this caused him to feel worse. Right away Goku shifted his attention to Chichi. His body faded in the air where only Roshi could see. He had to see what she was doing or where she was. Chichi would not be able to see him, but he would watch her progress like a hawk. He did not want to see her get hurt. Chapter 6 End |

Chapter 7 The Club Brings Action Chichi's attire: http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d133/AngelicsenPadme/chichi.jpg For the past hour, Chichi had reluctantly been cleaning up to prepare herself for the restaurant. She had been taken to the boy's home whose parents happened to be gone for the weekend. What kind of parents left their child alone? A sting in her heart caused her to remember that her child had died because of negligence. She patted her face down with water to wash away memories that were impossible to cleanse away. They would forever be apart of her. She had dressed in similar gi and had allowed her hair to be loose. It was rare for her to have done so, but she had often done it in the private of her own home. The looseness of her hair caused her to feel a sense of freedom and ease of her tension. There was a conversation going on downstairs that CHichi had not heard. There was also a presence in the room who she could not see, hear, or sense. Chichi stared into the mirror for a long while to assess her appearance. She was young, but constant pain and stress caused her to mature faster in her lifetime. When she eased her facial muscles from her constant glare, she looked years younger as if she were in her teens again. She had aged well and was physically fit from her training. Her stomach growled again, but she ignored it. No hunger pains would bother her. The hunger pains couldn't compare to the heart aches she had endured from losing her family. Goku had been watching her the whole time as she looked in the mirror. These type of things she had done like staring into the mirror confused him. Her natural beauty drew him to watch her more. If only, she could see him. As a kid, he never thought about love or women. In his teenage years when they had got married for the first time with Chichi like he had promised, he had not understood fully what he felt or what it meant. However, the more time he spent with Chichi and had fought side by side with her, the more right it seemed. He felt whole alongside her as if his entire life had been missing something. He had never had a true family. Grandpa Gohan had died when he was young and most of the people he met were acquaintances with some friends on the side. Chichi was none of those. She understood him in a way most people did not. Within that time he had spent before their wedding when her castle was on fire, he had fallen in love without truly knowing what it mean..until now. Now he missed her more than ever. Every time he was in a struggle or fight to the death her image as well as Gohan's kept him going. There was not a moment in his adult life where he did not at least think of her face or name. She was good as she was. He was seated on the bed with his chin rested on his hand. He had no idea what she was thinking, but he often wished he could speak to her and see her smile again. Even if she shouted at him like she had done often, he'd be grateful. Now he could have none of those. He knew how broken inside she was. Since had been in the other world, he had not seen her smile. He had no idea what had been going downstairs. Right now he wanted to be close to her to make sure she was safe. Meanwhile, downstairs, the polite boy had been talking on the phone awaiting for Chichi to come down stairs. He became impatient by her taking a long time to get ready. However, on the phone, he had been talking to some of his friends to meet him at the best place in the village where all the young people hung out. "Yeah, I totally met this woman on the road abandoned because of Ickerus. She is cute, but she looked sad. Dude she is older as well! I am going to be bringing her with me. She is totally super cool. You'll see. Oh...just make sure you know who isn't there okay. I don't want her getting scared and then me having to save the day....wait that would actually help. I'm hoping to at least get a hug or something because I like totally saved her from being eaten." It seemed like his friend on the other line was interested in knowing more. Again Chichi had still not come down. Ickerus was outside. He also had not heard what was happening with the conversation. At the moment, he was munching on his bowl of fruit. Chichi had no idea what restaurant place she was going too. All she wanted was to get this moment out of the way so she could concentrate on mourning some more. As she was about to let a tear drip down her cheek, a invisible Goku stood alongside her. He watched her closely in the attempt to get what she was thinking. He wanted to touch her cheek to rid her off the tear that had fallen. "Be strong Chichi please... All of tonight depends on you." He whispered. It was then that his superior senses caught the conversation downstairs. He was alerted to what the boy was talking about. Reluctantly, he left Chichi's side to go downstairs. It's not like anyone could see him anyway. Goku watched the boy on the phone. His head tilted in confusion because he wasn't sure exactly what he was listening to. "Yeahh, I can't wait to show her off to everyone. She is such a looker. I've been waiting for the past 20 minutes for her to come down. Ha, well you should know I got a good reputation." Every now and then the boy would pause to listen to the other person on the line. Most husbands would be infuriated by this of the plotting to use their wives, but Goku remained composed to gather the whole story. It wouldn't due him any good if he tried to punch the boy anyway. Finally, Chichi was ready. A loud exhausted exhale was released from her body. It was now or never. She once again took one last glance at herself, and then exited the room to go greet the teenage boy who had been talking on the phone. The boy's attention turned to her. Goku heard the door creek open and his gaze focused on Chichi. He had seen her in the room, yet was taken back by her appearance even if he was always confused about it. It took him a second to gather his thoughts, but now he was the back runner to the scene. The boy, who was talking on the phone almost had his jaw dropped. He had to hang up the phone to greet Chichi. "I'll talk to you later..bye." The boy hung up the phone and walked over to Chichi who was ready to leave. "Who was that?" She asked out of politeness and curiosity. "Ahh no one important. Ready to go?" He said with enthusiasm. "Yeah, yeah lets get this night over with." Chichi was not bubbling with enthusiasm. She had not noticed how the teenage boy had stared at her because of how tired she was. Some food would do her good. Goku heard her sarcastic tone and chuckled to himself. Her stubbornness remained intact something he had always enjoyed because it made her difficult and unpredictable. The boy had on some jeans and a nice shirt. No tie was necessary like Master Roshi had been wearing. Goku had been in the background watching the whole scene unfold before him. As Chichi and the boy exited, he followed them. He watched them like a hawk. In the distance, he could feel Master Roshi closing in. He had no idea if Roshi would make it in time. He just hoped he would because he had uneasy feeling about the boy's true intentions. If the boy lay a finger on Chichi, he...there was nothing he could do. He clenched his fist in frustration. All he could do was watch and follow. Chichi walked alongside the boy. Ickerus had been left behind since where they were going there were no pets allowed. However, Ickerus would not be the one to stay put for long. For now, he had remained at the boy's home feasting on fruits. The boy had a grin on his face because he was had been walking alongside Chichi. He did not want to start a conversation because he could tell by Chichi's face that she was too tired and couldn't care less what he had to say. She just wanted to get the night over with. It wasn't a long walk to where they were going. The village was not a typical village. It was more modern almost like a small town. There were shops of all kinds. Since it was a night time, there was only one placed that had been open. The restaurant they were walking to was lit up with many lights. Glancing at his watch, the boy knew they were early since it was only 2 a.m. It was an odd time to be taking a woman to a restaurant, but it was not his intention. The building they were close to was the local pub/club. Seeing that Chichi had not been frequent with the times with her bowing, he knew she would not get what it was until they were inside. There were no long lines nor music playing since they were early. Chichi's black, orbed eyes caught a glimpse of the flashy lights. It was not a restaurant she had particularly seen. Whatever it was not serious. She had, yet to realize where the boy had actually brought her. Her mind had drifted her dead family members once again. Even the grin on the boy's face, had not caused her to be suspicious. Her senses were at an all time low with her fatigue and tormented heart. Once they arrived the the pub/club, the boy jumped in front of Chichi to try to get her spirits up. Not only was he going to have the best night, he would make sure his reputation would be forever remembered amongst his friends. "You will love the food here Chichi." Chichi glanced at him with a tired expression. Goku had been watching them without her knowing it. "I am a bit hungry so it better be. Lets just get it over with." She showed some interest in what he was talking about. It was not his fault she had been suffering. She could tel he had been trying to help like her father had. No medicine or help would heal her heart until she was ready to strive for her true destiny. Whatever it may be. Goku had no idea what the place was either. He just hoped there was nothing dangerous inside. There was something not. If only he could put his finger on it, she would be okay. "Come on Roshi...Chichi needs you." When he witness Chichi and the boy enter, he followed behind. Roshi and Oolong were close to arriving to the village. It was not too far away from the Kame House. Roshi the whole time had been thinking about what the ladies would think about his suit. Oolong, on the other hand, had been hungry for some food. Goku was the first to enter into the restaurant like place. The one who was normally hungry did not get distracted by food. His eyes scanned the scene and to his dismay it was not a restaurant. There were teenagers, adults, etc. dancing everywhere. Colorful lights were moving around in a crazy sequence. "Woah...King Kai really wasn't kidding.." Goku had no idea that this was where Chichi would end up. Goku wasn't familiar with dance clubs, but the way people were moving and laughing he could get the sense that they were dancing. However, King Kai was spot on with his prediction. He hoped Chichi would be able to eat, but he was fearful this place would hurt her or worse. Loud music shook the walls and floor as neon, blue lights flickered onto the people dancing. A song had begun to play in the background that Goku was in no way or shape interested in. He was too focused on the surroundings he had almost lost sight of Chichi. One thing he knew about Chichi was her amazing ability to dance. Even he had been taught a thing or two. He could remember clearly how she shouted at him for stepping on her feet. She told him about having two left feet, but he was certain he had one right foot and one left foot. None of that mattered though. Her sadness had drained that fire cracker spirit Goku was used to seeing. In this day and age, there was no way anyone could get her to dance again. Song playing in the background: Chichi had walked into the club with the boy. Her energy levels were down and out. As soon as she walked into the club, she already knew where she had been taken to. Immediately, her temper began to rise. There were people of all ages dancing together with colorful lights shining on her face. The music playing blasted into her ears. This scene had become uncommon for her. Those days of dancing were long gone for her. Seeing Chichi's facial expression, the boy put a smile on his face. "Come on there is food this way!" "This is not a restaurant." Chichi snapped. Goku in the background listened and almost had to chuckle at her temper. Something he had grown used to and missed seeing from King Kai's planet. "Uh....it has food? Don't worry you don't have to dance. Come on my friends are waiting and the food will get cold." The boy gave her a reassuring smile. "Food? I wish Chichi could share..." Goku said with his mouth gaped open. Drool started to drip from his lower lip. He had momentarily forgot Chichi was in danger. Food had that tendency of testing his attention span. Her eyes narrowed at the boy who had tricked her into coming in such a place. She had often caused a scene when she didn't like something. However, the music playing in the background had caused her mind to drift to her family again. Always I want to be with you... She was so distracted by all the surroundings as was Goku who was watching her, she had momentarily forgotten the pain she had been in. G Perhaps this club was the medication she needed. The medication didn't seem to help though. Seeing everyone so happy, made her feel miserable. Her heart wanted to rage at the boy, but her body was exhausted. She felt it was best for her to eat and leave. In this case, she followed the boy to a nearby table knowing full well she could not survive long in the wilderness without nourishment. The boy had avoided her wrath for the time being, but he knew he was treading on thin ice. End Chapter 7 Edited by Pookie, Nov 17 2012, 05:47 AM.

Chapter 8 The Mysterious Phenom The boy pulled out Chichi's chair out of politeness. His friends were all smiling at him. All four of them were boys and could not believe that the boy had indeed had the best reputation. He was about to get even cooler with the find. For some reason, they all had suspicious smiles on their faces. Goku ignored them because he knew CHichi could handle them. The food that was on the table no longer bothered him either. He started to walk around the dance floor past everyone. His senses were picking up a terrible presence. It made him anxious and fearful. "What is it that I am sensing?" His frustration got the best of him for he did not even notice that Master Roshi and Oolong had arrived. Both of them walked into the club having forgotten the initial mission of seeking out Chichi. Master Roshi looked at the ladies and started to drool. Oolong too could barely contain himself. "Ohh momma shake that thing!" Master Roshi pushed his hands together hoping he could get a squeeze. Though Oolong too was perverse, he remembered about their mission. Oolong had to be the appropriate one and drag Roshi to the corner where they could spot Chichi. "Come on Roshi you heard what Goku said." Roshi had to be dragged by Oolong. Roshi was defiant. He had dressed attractive like to hopefully get a kiss by some girl. He didn't care from who as long as they were nice and young. All Chichi's frustrations were kept inside her. The flickering lights no longer bothered her as they had when she first walked in. Another song had started to play where Chichi would have danced if she was still a complete person. A chair had been pulled out for her by the boy. She took one short glance at the four boys surrounding the table. None of this made her uncomfortable. She was too far gone in her thoughts to even concern herself with petty things. The boy was chatting with friends while Chichi's dead, like eyes stared into the dancing people. She had her chin against the back rest of the chair staring in agony. Why had she been brought here? With the loud music, she could barely hear what the boys were saying. "Man where did you find her?" One said with shock. "Ickerus found her laying on the road. I can't believe soemone like her was laying out there in the middle of no where. IF word goes out, I'll be a hero in the town." His friends patted his shoulders for congratulations because it was a difficult thing for anyone the boy's age to do. Music that came on: {Oh Goku...Gohan} She said in a defeated tone inside her head. Her hair had fallen over the chair as she was lost in the movements of the people. To her, they were moving in slow motion. People in her vision were dancing in slow motion as she started to focus on one spot only in the room. The lights frantic lights were no longer in her line of sight. Her eyes were half closed when she started to hear a different, eerie type music. She could barely concentrate on where it was coming from. It was almost as if she was being drugged or hypnotized. Music Playing: The boys were too busy chatting to themselves to even notice Chichi's helpless state. Goku, on the other hand, heard the music start to play in the room. He started to become more uneasy as seconds passed by. He had not yet noticed Chichi's state of mind. Master Roshi and Oolong were in the corner now admiring all the ladies by the side. They didn't even notice how the music had changed. Chichi had her stare in one direction. In almost like a dream fashion, everyone in the room parted to opposite directions. She had her gazed fixated on someone's knees not even realizing who she was staring at in that particular moment. Goku frantically rushed around the room in the attempt to see who he was sensing. His eyes spotted how that room started to part in opposite directions leaving a path completely open. "How strange..?" Goku then noticed where the path led to. He saw Chichi who looked like she was about to fall asleep. He let go of all hi instinct to find out who was doing this. He rushed to Chichi. He ran in front of her line of vision, but she could not see him. He crouched alongside her hoping by some miracle he could snap her out of her trance. "Chichi what is wrong?" He saw how she was staring lifelessly at one spot. The normally laid back Goku was now anxious, yet helpless to help his wife. Chichi did not see anything Goku was doing nor she she sense his presence. She was in a trance as the lights turned a dark blue. Whoever had done this had planned it perfectly. What exactly was Chichi staring at ? End Chapter 8 Edited by Pookie, Nov 14 2012, 06:03 PM.

Chapter 9 An Explosive Power A slight wrinkle had caused her eyes to move from the knees she was looking at to the person who was at the other end of the open path that were left by the dancers. There a tall, pointy haired, well dressed, and royal like man stood. He was staring straight into her eyes as he had used some kind of ki to get her attention. He was a saiyan, but no one would know that for his tail was hidden. Only one person in the room could tell, but he was dead. Goku turned his head while he was in a crouching position. He stared in the direction Chichi had been looking at the whole time. His eyes widened at the sight. No...was he the person he had been sensing? Goku searched his feelings for a moment. To his horror, it had been. Yes, it had been it! He shot up onto his feet and now had to act or all this could turn bad. Once again, he crouched down in front of Chichi. "Chichi listen to me...he will hurt you. Just stay away! DARN IT" As he said that, Chichi began to stand onto her feet. Goku had forgotten about Master Roshi and Oolong at this time. He was trying to keep Chichi away from the man who he KNEW was a saiyan. A saiyan that was evil and wanting to do harm. He stood upon his feet and rushed to Torn, but not even Torn could see him. "Stay away from her! You HEAR ME " As he said that, Torn walked through his body towards the dazed out Chichi. The boys had finally realized what was going on. They saw in the distance. The boy who had helped Chichi how now become fearful. He was now a coward and no longer a hero. "Oh no! I didn't know HE would be here tonight!" The boy who had helped Chichi had left with his friends to avoid angering the saiyan who had often been seen killing those who opposed his wrath. Torn's Appearance: http://i1064.photobucket.com/albums/u361/PrincessChichi/saiyanelite_zps95ff4a32.jpg Goku followed alongside the saiyan who approached Chichi. He was yelling at the saiyan to stop in his tracks, but all of it was in vain. The music had started to die down. Once the saiyan reached Chichi, he put his hand out for her to take it. "I couldn't help but notice your sadness my dear. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Torn." Goku growled in frustration. He had no way of stopping what was about to take place. Chichi glanced up at the man's face. Her eyes traveled his body slowly to see that the he was talking to her. She had snapped out of the trance she was in. Now she was in full control of her thoughts and movements. "I am fine. Please I just need to be alone....Torn" Even at her worst, she managed to say his name politely. She took a look at her table to see that the boys had left her by herself. What a night! Her fist was about to slam onto the table, but Torn caught it. "Please...Chichi. Don't hurt your hand like that. You haven't eaten in days or slept. Allow me to comfort you in these times of trouble." Torn spoke softly to sound sympathetic. He guided her to a table where she could sit comfortably. Goku's eyes widened. He even knew about her name. How could this be? Goku never talked about her with anyone because of his enemies. Remembering that Master Roshi was to arrive, he had to act quickly. Immediately, Goku rushed to where Roshi was sitting because even though Goku had forgotten, he could sense where Roshi. Roshi and Oolong were sipping on some alcoholic beverages. Chichi let out an irritated snarl. How did this person know her name? "H..how did you know that? Look I don't have time for games. I just want to go home." "ROSHI" Goku pleaded as if his life depended on it. "Oh Goku this party is great. You really sure know how to pick them. I had no idea." Roshi was a bit tipsy by his comment. Goku paid no attention to his current state. "We don't have time for that now! You have to get to Chichi right away!" Goku shouted so loudly that it hurt Roshi's ears. "Alright, okay Goku. I'm sure you are just overreacting." Roshi stood up. People in the room began to close in together and dance as if nothing happened. Roshi had to make his way through the crowd to get a glimpse of what Goku was talking about. Goku followed with anticipation. "I insist you come with me Chichi. I really must show you something. It won't take long. I'll even take you home myself to your father the Ox King." Torn spoke as if Chichi knew who he was. Now this was extremely creepy to Chichi. He knew her father as well. It was probably coincidental or perhaps Goku had mentioned her to someone. Either way, she didn't care for Torn's offer. She glanced at Torn again who was just like the annoying dragon she met earlier that night. He insisted and insisted until he got what he wanted. She refused to give into anyone again. Not this time at least. The dragon had put her through enough trouble as it was. "Just tell me how to get home. Whatever you have to show me isn't important." She said as kindly as possible, but her words were quite rude and firm. "But I can show you K...Goku." Torn said. He was still a mystery to everyone. As he said that, Chichi pounced out of her chair and grasped Torn's arm. "Tell me you are not joking. This is not some sick game you are playing. If you are...." Chichi had grasped Torn's arm which Torn used as a tool to guide her to the middle of the dance floor and to her seat. The look in her eyes was enough for Torn to see how intense she was. It drove him mad of the possibilities she had. She walked next to him in hopes that she would see Goku. She walked with him to where he wanted, but then she stopped to demand what he had told her. "Show me Goku. I want to see him now!" Goku walked with Roshi. There, to his horror, Chichi was talking with Torn. He had no idea what Torn had planned. Roshi stopped in his tracks as well. He noticed a furry tail that Chichi had not seen herself. "...Goku" Roshi's shock could be seen through his sun glasses. A rare sight for anyone. Goku instinctively knew what Roshi had seen. "Yes Roshi he is a saiyan. I don't even know how he got here. Vegeta told me there were only four survivors. What is worse is that he seems to know everything. He knows everything about my wife." Goku rushed towards them again. He had left Roshi by himself because he had to do something. Torn smirked to himself. "He is in this room right now watching you like he always does from above." Chichi looked around the room to see if it were true. She saw nothing. "You're lying. I don't see anything." She said in frustration because there was no one there. Most often she would have spotted Goku's spiked hair from anywhere. Goku stopped inches from Chichi and Torn who appeared to be dancing while speaking. Torn had guided her to dance while he played with her emotional state promising her that her dead husband was in the room. She barely noticed she had begun to dance because she wanted to catch a glimpse of her dead husband. Goku felt that Chichi had become uncomfortable and desired to see his face. Unfortunately, there was nothing he could do to warn her. Goku overheard Torn's promise to Chichi about allowing her to see him. Once again, Goku was left shocked and speechless. Could Torn see him or was he bluffing? "There is no way he can see me..." Goku stood tall and firm to see if it were true. Goku sent a punch to Torn's face. For half a second barely noticeable to a human's eye, Torn took one glance at Goku. Goku was no ordinary human. His abilities caught onto Torn quickly. Goku was in disbelief. {He can see me?} Goku thought to himself. {But how?} He was shocked more than ever. Torn had to smile again at Chichi's defiance. He bent over to kiss her hand. Goku growled in anger. Why was it that he couldn't do one thing, yet Torn could see him? Goku thought of his death as a waste even when the androids were to take over, and now his theory had been proven further. He couldn't protect his wife. The one who had given birth to his son and aided him in time of crisis. She was the sole survivor of the Son Family and left to fend for herself against a monster. What would happen next would be unexpected and truly shocking to everyone in the room. Master Roshi had been attempting to think of a manner in which to approach Torn who was definitely a saiyan. Roshi had not battled in years and to even attempt to fight back would be suicide. However, he could not let any harm come to Chichi. Unfortunately, Roshi had lost track of his friend Oolong who had already gone to investigate. Goku once again looked at Chichi. "Chichi, please just leave now." She did not see or hear him. Again he growled. This was the worst day of his afterlife. Oolong, the neighborhood coward, had rushed into the crowd not realizing he was getting closer to Chichi and Torn who were dancing. Chichi was not, but Torn was certainly attempting make a move on her. Being a bit tispy, Oolong had accidentally grasped onto Chichi's behind, which for Torn was about to get messy. Chichi, who was already frustrated at Torn for not doing what he had promised, had more to be angry about in a few seconds. She found herself with no answers and dancing for no apparent reason. She was about to break away when something touched her in an inappropriate place. Her eyes slowly glanced up at Torn who had a smirk on his face. Feeling as if someone grasped her in an inappropriate manner, she glared at Torn. Chichi had a fury like no other. This had been the final straw. "I can't..believe this....Keep your filthy hands off of me you creep!"Chichi's exhaustion got the best of her when she tried to stay strong. She had reached her breaking point. It didn't matter who it was standing before her. She wouldn't be disrespected. A loud smack sound was heard. It was like a shot heard around the world. She had sent the most powerful slap her weakened body could muster. The slap had stopped the room dead in its tracks. Goku's face struck with horror. Chichi's bravery had never been questioned, but now more than ever did she need to be protected. Torn would likely kill her for that strike. Goku's shocked expression: ![]() Torn's face jerked to the side. His hand reached for his cheek. Right now Goku's heart was on a thin string. Everything in the room fell silent. His heart pounded against his chest. All he could do was watch helplessly. If Torn decided attack, Goku would crumble. "You have no honor!" She shouted again with anger. Everyone in the room except for Chichi had been trembling. She glared at Torn with no guilt over what she had done. Rather then watch Torn shower in his embarrassment, she started to walk away. No longer did she want to be in this scene. Already she had been suffering and now he made it worse. "Where do you think you are going? I'm not done with you yet." Torn had never been disrespected in such a way in his life. He grabbed Chichi's arm as she had began to walk away. "You have some nerve!" Chichi felt her arm get grabbed tightly as she was pulled close. "Let go of me or you are going to get it!" "Let her go!" Goku said in rage.Invisible Goku dove through Torn's body. He shouted in frustration because he could not do anything. Roshi could not bare to watch anymore. He rushed to the scene and poked Torn's shoulder. "Please let the lady go." Goku watched anxiously as Roshi had attempted to calm the situation. Chichi was surprised by Roshi's sudden appearance. "Master Roshi what are you doing here?" She was confused as ever. Torn glared at Roshi. "Who are you old man? Get out of here!" Torn's saiyan rage became apparent. "It's alright dear. I'll take it from here." Roshi said to Chichi "You aren't doing anything!" Torn barked and sent a powerful back handed slap that sent Roshi flying through the front door of the club and onto the street. Goku watched again in horror. "Roshi!" She screeched with passion for the first time in a long time. Her father's master had been innocently attacked. She started to struggle in Torn's grasp. Being exhausted, she did not care. Torn had enough. He used his strength to place Chichi onto his shoulder. \ "I WON'T LET YOU GET AWAY WITH THIS! I SAID PUT HER DOWN!" Voice enraged by the pain in his heart. Goku had just witness his master get attacked, and now Torn was hurting his wife more than Goku could bare. This is when Goku decided he had enough. His rage engulfed his soul. His rage exploded. The rare and legendary transformation had come forth. He had transformed to super saiyan in his ghost like self. All this power, yet it would go to waste. "I SAID PUT HER DOWN! I KNOW YOU CAN SEE ME!" Goku demanded in rage as if he would kill Torn if he didn't do as he was told. His voice was loud and hurt, but no one could hear him. Torn carried Chichi who right now went limp on his shoulder. Something strange was happening inside of Chichi. Goku continued to follow in pursuit of Torn. TOrn had walked outside to see that Roshi was bloody and almost knocked out. Chichi was limp from all the terror that had struck her heart. All Chichi's pain and torment had been kept dormant. Everything that had happened in her life that day had drove her past the brink of no return. A, golden Super Saiyan Goku was having a glare off with Torn. He had his fists clenched and his teeth gritting with fury. Torn paid no attention as he had Chichi over his shoulder. "I know you can see me Torn! Put her down now" He said again in a more menacing/demanding tone that could send chills down anyone's spine. A golden aura surrounded his body that was enough to crush the ground beneath him even if he was dead. Torn smirked as he felt Chichi's body go limp on his shoulder. He had finally decided to respond to Goku's annoying temper tantrums. "I can see you Kakarrot, but she can't. It doesn't matter what you try to do. You CAN'T do anything. You are dead." Torn laughed hysterically at Kakarrot's attempt to scare him. What could a dead person even do to him? Goku could barely contain his anger. What Torn had said was true. "If I was alive right now, you'd be begging for your life right now!" Goku said defiantly. Chichi, who had gone limp on Torn's shoulder, heard Torn speaking about a Carrot or talking to someone. There was no one in the area. She felt wetness splash down her cheeks again as she had begun to cry. The pain and horror she had felt was more for her to bare any longer. As she cried, her body shook with sadness. Once again, her pride had to be tossed aside. Goku glanced at Chichi on Torn's shoulder. He saw her shaking and his hand stretched out for her. "Chichi...don't cry..please." He said in an agonizing tone knowing well that she could not see him. He felt completely terrible and helpless at this situation. Like as if someone were listening in the skies, a light began to shine down no the scene. Chichi's tear stricken eyes glanced up with no expression on her face. She had blurred vision, but apparently, there had been someone else with them. Her mouth gaped open as she saw a Golden Warrior who appeared to be Goku. Had what she been seeing been a dream? Goku, or who she thought was Goku, had a glare that could tear into someone's soul. He seemed furious. She had never seen him look like that, but by his face of concern she could tell it was him. There was no mistaking it. Right now, her eyes were simply on him. Was she dreaming? If someone was playing a cruel joke...this would certainly be the end for Chichi's sanity. Goku wanted to strike Torn until he noticed in the corner of his green eye that Chichi had been looking up from Torn's shoulder. He glanced at her and his eyes soften. Was she looking right at him? Could she seem him? He kept looking into her eyes. The eyes that had won his heart so many years ago. He could barely contain himself if she could see him. He looked closer and saw his reflection in her eyes. She could see him! "Chichi!" He shouted hoping she would respond to him. Chichi reached her hand out for Goku. "Goku.." She whispered and her eyes had closed. Something inside of her was taking over. The sobbing, the pain, and the anguish she had felt throughout these days was about to be released in a fury who no one had seen from her. Something inside of Chichi was about to erupt like a volcano. Goku saw the emotionless eyes from Chichi. At that moment, Goku glared back at Torn. "Drop her Torn. Right now! I'd show you to mess with someone your size." Goku kept his fist clenched. Not even he knew what was about to happen. Chichi's subconscious could hear everything Goku had been saying. She thought it was all a cruel joke. All the past months of Gohan's Death, Goku's death, and the dreams she had been having played in her mind. Torn continued to laugh and did not realize his laughter pierced into Chichi's ears like oil to a flame. Suddenly, a red aura had started to form around Chichi. Goku took notice to it first. His eyes widened not knowing what had just been set off or why she was doing that. He thought for sure it was Torn who had done it, but he was mistaken when Torn had glanced at Chichi with shock as well. "For as long as I live, I will never forgive you for this...." Her comment was directed at all the villains that had played with her, had destroy her family, and had now tried to torture her. She, like Gohan often had displayed, shouted in a rage of fury that sent a shockwave of energy throughout the entire village. Houses nearby were turn to dust, the ground beneath Goku and Torn cratered, and Torn had no other choice but to drop her. When he had, she landed on her feet and was glaring right at Torn. It seemed she had been lost in her own power. "Wh..what are you doing Chichi!" She responded with another yell that sent a powerful energy straight at Torn. Her hidden power had surfaced. The power that had long been dormant. Goku witnessed the whole scene unfold with both pride and shock. He knew Chichi had something inside of her, but nothing like this. All those years he had been afraid of her for a reason, and this is exactly what he knew for so long. The energy she had released had shook the entire area. Though the burst of power had increased for just a minute, she had already been able to tame Torn to the point that he was knocked out a distance from the village. Chapter 10 Earth's New Hope The warrior princess power had finally come to the surface. Her angered eyes started to soften. She had not realized what had just taken place. She started to feel her exhaustion kick in. The red aura that sprouted around her had disappeared. She started to move around with balance. Her tumbling body could be seen by Goku. He rushed to her as she started to fall. By some miracle, Goku had been able to catch her before she fell. This almost caused Goku to tear himself. For the first time in years, he could feel her. Who had done this? Whoever had, he would cherish the moment forever. Chichi, who was barely conscious, had felt someone catch her. A familiar body. Her eyes glanced up into Goku's who had been watching her with admiration. If this was there last moment together, they had to make it count. "Goku...but how?" She said because she too had been confused by the whole scene. "Are you alright?" Goku said in concern. He had little time. His body was crouched as he had her soft body in his arms. She had not responded, but he already knew the answer to his uestion. He knew she was okay, but tired. "I told you. You are more than what you allow yourself to be. Remember this. I will always be with you." Chichi eyes were half closed now. She listened to what Goku had said. If only there was one thing that could make this vision real. "I love you...and so does Gohan. What I said in the dream..I meant all of it." Goku whispered and for the first time he was about to initiate his emotions. To seal the deal from all that he had learned about love, he kissed her for the last time. His lips brushed against hers for the last time. He felt her wet tears wash onto his cheeks. He too was on the brink of crying, but he had not. His transformation had disappeared, and it was his original self that Chichi had known so well. Her eyes had closed for a second from the sudden action by dream Goku or what she thought was a dream. Her eyes opened halfway to see that he was back to his original state. This kiss lasted for a couple of seconds, but the kiss had snapped her senses. This was no dream. What she felt was real! Goku who had kissed her pulled back. "Goku it really is you!" She hugged him tightly. A smile that had disappeared for months had returned onto her face. Only her family members could do it. Her smile was worth more than anything. "Ack!" Goku did not expect the tight hug, but his playful surprise had mellowed to a affection expression. He returned the embrace. "No more crying okay. I hate it when you cry." Chichi pulled back and nodded. "You have a purpose now Chichi like you always have. You just didn't let yourself experience it. I'll always be here to guide you. I wanted to protect you when I was alive, but now it is up to you to keep going forward. I know you can get past this. You are so strong. You just have to believe." Chichi placed a sly smile on her face. "I'll go get them." She said as everything had fallen into place. She knew what had to be done. The torn situation was not over, but there would be more villains like him to conquer the world. She had to continue Goku and Gohan's legacy with pride. She would do it...or die trying. Goku laughed at her determination. She was back to herself."I feel sorry for those bad guys. I know you'll do great. Now, as for me, I have to go wash the dishes..." He put his hand behind his head and started laughing as he remembered his promise with King Kai. Chichi laughed along with Goku. He had never done the dishes for her so she wished she could see that. The sky started to turn to day. Chichi and Goku spent their last moment together until one day Chichi too had gone to the other world. Goku's body slowly disappeared into the sunset. Until that day of her passing, Chichi now had a purpose, and it was to protect the Earth like Goku and Gohan had done for so long.... Goku and Chichi's love could be felt by the entire Earth. Love and good conquered all.,.. Her journey as a warrior had just begun. to be continued.. Edited by Pookie, Nov 14 2012, 06:14 PM.

I get it. It's from that scene where Chi-Chi transforms for the first time against Maron. Of course, I'm sure they made that as a special effect to show her anger, but you turned it into a real thing. It's something like Kaioken, but I wonder if it's stronger than SSJ? Really deep, too deep for a DBZ story; but if it were any other anime this sort, if would be perfect, but not DBZ. I know you wanted to make us feel her pain and you did a great job at that, but but...:) Love the dramatism, the suspans, the action, the thrill, I think so far it deserves a 10/10. Wish I had more time to read every line, I usually focus on the action and the dialog and not the description. BRAVO!:D |

Ahh thanks for taking the time to read some of it. I appreciate it! I was hoping people would like it. It is hard finding decent stories about CHichi so I decided to do one that would represent her through my eyes. The inner power is not only from that scene with Marron though. The reason why I think Chichi has inner power is for several reasons; 1. Gohan- It takes two to make a baby. Goku wasn't powerful when Gohan was conceived, yet Gohan's power doubled his at the age of 5 when angry. 2. Chichi has an enormous temper and people are scared of her for a reason. They wouldn't be scared of her if she didn't have any power. I'm talking about the people around her and not evil villains that haven't been around her for a long time. 3. Though it doesn't take merit here in the DBZ world, I believe her mother was special for the fact that in Journey to the West her character was actually a goddess. Toriyama said he took some of his ideas from Jouney to the West. I use this as the basis as to why Gohan may be as powerful as he is. In logic, He had Goku marry Chichi for a reason. It wasn't out of accident. 4. Ox King is not an ordinary man. There is a reason why they call him a demon. 5. Call it whatever, but she took a shot from SSJ Goten and survived with not much scraps. Yeah, she was down, but that was because she didn't have any training prior to that. Those are several reasons that I took. To me, she is one of the special characters that didn't get much of a back story. Anyway, thank you so much for your support!

I am currently on Chapter 2. And I have say that it has me hooked. There are some grammatical errors, but I know you wanted to put it all out quickly, so that's ok. What matters most is the story, and I loved the way you had Goku talking. It was like I was hearing Sean Schemmels voice. Very good. I'll comment once more when I'm further down the story. |

Thanks you two for the comments. I like the detail you guys give for why you like my fanfic. It means a lot that you two took the tim to read it. They are really helpful. I plan on going back to slowly fix some of the grammatical errors. For now, I'll let it be. Edited by Pookie, Nov 17 2012, 05:22 AM.
