I was just thinking about Movie 8 and how when Vegeta fought Broly one on one, he couldnt even make Broly flinch, but then when he gives his power to Goku ( who is basically powerless at this point), Goku suddenly gains an unbelievable amount of power, big enough to defeat Broly with one punch. I dont get how Vegeta was worthless against Broly before, but then somehow he seems to have incredible power later on....Do you guys have any theories or ideas that could explain this?? |

That punch was a massively focused punch, containing all the energy from everyone, not just Vegeta. Broly popped like a balloon, so apparently piercing attacks like that are his weakness. That's just my opinion on it. |

I guess that's a nice explanation, crash. But so much easier to just blame it all on plot Veggie's power oughta be whatever it was at the Cell Games. |

I think its obvious what happened. Goku+Vegeta+Gohan+Piccolo+Trunks<Broly. No matter how much energy they got, they could never pierce the flesh of the devil. But there was another person there, a strong old master of the ancient times who challenged the devil earlier. So frightened was the devil thta he refused to fight this master and the master stood away from the others, he gave his energy in secret to stop the devil. Goku+Vegeta+Gohan+Piccolo+Trunks+Master Roshi (With Roshi's incredible input of ki) overwhelmed and defeated Broly. Edited by EMIYA, Nov 4 2012, 12:58 AM.

Broly was ready to pop. His chi was at his body's physical limit. Broly doesn't have green blood, so you see all that green stuff spilling out when Goku punches him? That's his chi. It was only a matter of popping him. |

I like that explanation. Someone has to pierce him and deflate him of his energy. |
