"Goddamnit," the older Namekian called. "Why the hell can't this narrator call us by our names?" The half-breed gently closed his book. "Piccolo. What was that thing you wanted to show me?" "Stand up, Gohan. This is something really important..." The older Namekian led the half-breed to a secluded area of the Lookout, showing him 7 round orange balls speckled with various amounts of black stars, hidden inside of one of the many decaying pillars in the Lookout, and partially obscured by rotten corpses. "Piccolo! What are these?! I can feel power... emanating from these." "That's what I wanted to ask you. Gohan... have you ever heard of anything like these in the literature you've read?" "No... Piccolo, these are Dragon Balls. They're different, they're darker, but they're Dragon Balls. You're the one who should know about these." "..." "Piccolo, something's weirdly tempting about it. I can't help but..." Before he could notice what he was doing, the half-breed laid his hand upon the spherical, dark relics. His glasses flared ominously from the light of these sinister Dragon Balls suddenly glowing, obscuring his eyes. "Gohan, what are you-!" "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn." "What the-" An impossibly huge serpentine being materialized, floating above the Lookout. Merely its head was the side of three Lookouts. At an initial glance, all that registered was red scales, ominously glowing yellow eyes, and sheer terror. "ʜᴇʟʟᴏ ᴘᴇᴀsᴀɴᴛs ᴀɴᴅ ᴍᴏʀᴛᴀʟs. ɪ sʜᴀʟʟ ɢʀᴀɴᴛ ʏᴏᴜ ᴀɴʏ ᴏɴᴇ ᴡɪsʜ ᴀɴᴅ ᴏɴᴇ ᴡɪsʜ ᴏɴʟʏ ᴏғ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴄʜᴏᴏsɪɴɢ." Gohan's voice had seemed to drop several octaves lower, and he spoke with a newfound sinisterness. He chuckled softly. "Now, Dragon, I can tell there are some catches to this." His glasses still had an ominous glare on them, still obscuring his eyes. "Tell me."

Posts: 375 Group: Member Member #7,334 Joined: February 18, 2012	Alternate beginning to GT perhap? Did Gohan become possessed by the dark star dragonballs? Piccolo has an insistent tone here, he's real worried by this new discovery. No idea what to expect but the abrupt ending and interesting beginning has me intrigued to read more. Good descriptions, painted the scene and characters well. Lol at Piccolo's little remark to the Narrator.

The Almighty Dragon let out an everlasting roar, twisting eternally, spasming, beginning to glow of energy until it was a being made purely out of energy, a white apparation in the shape of its being, and it rammed its head into the half-breed's chest, flying into it, and it spiralled around the half-breed and entered his mouth, all whilst the half-breed Saiyan was phantasmagorically levitating in the air, head turned upwards, mouth wide open, arms going out downwards at a 45 degree angle, and the dragon and the half-breed became one.
