The Beatles and Queen are my favorites bands along with Styx. EDIT: I wanna elaborate. I really love the Beatles, but I am not a huge fan of the CONSTANT covers. I really liked them in middle school, but with the advent of Glee and Across the Universe, I get sick of hearing the music at all because then it's overplayed. There are three covers that I LOVE though: Across the Universe by Rufus Wainwright, Blackbird by Sarah Mclachlin, and Imagine by Eva Cassidy. Edited by Krystal, Nov 8 2012, 10:32 PM.

Wintertime or summertime? Ever get stage fright (doesn't have to be on a stage specifically, could be presenting something back in middle school or something)? If you saw your favorite flavor of ice cream on the floor, already somewhat melted, would you eat it? |

1. It says I don't have permission. ![]() 2. Ohhhhhh yes. I ended up sleeping in my car the Friday night because I was so pissed I didn't even want to support them by being in a room.
1. Summmmeerrrrrr 2. Actually, no. I get social fright, I guess? When I'm talking to people on my own I get shy and not very loud or assertive, but on stage, during interviews, or in cosplay, I really thrive. 3. NOPE.jpg |

If you were the President of Z Studios, and all 5 members of the Ginyu Force wanted to try out to play in whatever you're in ex. movies, plays, music videos, etc, who do you think you would end up picking to work for you, and why? |

Hmmm...that's an awfully interesting question. If I were the president, I guess I would want what's best for the studio, so I would want the most marketable actors. So, I guess I would hire Jeice, Guldo, and Recoome. Captain Ginyu is too straightforward forward me. As the charismatic leader, he would always be the best fit for either the leading hero or villian, but not necessarily the best actor. I need an actor who can shine in the limelight and blend in a background. I probably wouldn't hire him because for show business, wannabe heroes are a dime a dozen. Burter is unremarkable to me, and thus may be forgetful to an audience. This is financial suicide if I want to make a show that I plan to base merchandise off of. Jeice is easily the most versatile of them all. He can easily be a hero or antagonist, mature or boyish, and has a body that can be portrayed as strong or weak with the proper wardrobe. He looks unique enough to stand out, but attractive enough to be successful on camera. Additionally, his hair would be great for marketing a "look." Like Angelina Jolie has lips and Elizabeth Taylor had eyes, Jeice would have hair. Guldo, while not very versatile, is very much in demand. He can be the best friend, the bully, and the comic relief, as even in DBZ he's essentially the Eric Cartman of the Ginyu Force. The real rub is whether or not he's willing to be typecast as the fat friend, because there is a major danger of that. Recoome is just a body that I could use. Whether I need I bouncer, a soldier, a goon, he has the perfect look for "Big n' Dumb" stereotype that so many movies need in bulk. |

**Please take everything I am about to say, in a "Platonic" way and not a "Perv/Hitting on" way.** I've studied your devianart and I see that you're a rapid cosplayer, I think it's awesome, all your costumes are so amazing and in character. Not only that, but you are BEAUTIFUL ![]() Now for my question.. Why did you start Cosplay and What is the best part? Do you know how good you look? Are you more confident in or out of Cosplay? |

Hurrrrhurrrhurrrr. *Blushes* Thank you so much. That's really, really nice, and not taken in a pervy way at all. ![]() I started cosplaying when I was a sophomore in high school. Well, I did my first costume. It was Lucy from Elfen Lied, and the reason I started was because a friend of mine brought a bunch of friends and I to a convention for her birthday. Even though I had been a rabid DBZ fan since I was 7, I hadn't been exposed to an actual anime culture. I LOVED that convention and especially the people I met and started going to more conventions. The best part is definitely the people I meet, and maintain relationships with. One thing that you need to remember at anime conventions is that none of it is real. And by that, I DON'T mean that anime is just cartoons. You come across a lot of really snobby elitist cosplayers, rude voice actors, and people who won't look at you twice if you don't meet what they consider perfect standards to fit a 2D character. That's the part of conventions and cosplay that isn't real. In 100 years, nobody will remember who voiced who, or who won what contest, or who looked better in their Miku dress. What matters is who you allow into your life. Every. Single. One. of my closest friends is someone I met through cosplay. My two best friends in the world were both met at a cosplayer meetup and a convention, respectively. I met my boyfriend, who is seriously the most wonderful man I ever met, when I interviewed him for Cosplayer Nation, which is a documentary team that interviews cosplayers and convention guests. They chose me to be an interviewer because they remembered me for my Saiyan Maid cosplay. Even if I am too old and fat and grown up to cosplay., I'll still have the people I love in my life. I know that's a whole bg answer to just one part of your question, sorry. XD Tldr; the best part of this hobby is finding friends who you'll keep even when your convention days are over. To be honest, I really actually hate the way I look. I think I look better in cosplay because the more interesting an outfit it, the more it detracts from my face or shape. Granted; I take great care of myself so I'm usually well-groomed and smell nice. My face is something I can't change, and I'm in excellent physical health, so I don't really fret. So while I don't think I look good, I don't think I look bad either. Really, I try to let my outfits do more of the talking than my looks. I really rather be focused on craftsmanship anyway because then I can help others and contribute to more conversations. If I were pretty and ONLY relied on my looks to pull off an otherwise mediocre costume, I'm not really contributing to what I think is an awesome art.I actually could care less if I'm in a costume or not, I just feel better when I'm in my element. The last two cons I've been to, I just wore a matching outfit with Chris instead of cosplayed, but I was happy as a clam. I'm most confident when I know what I'm talking about. For me, my top confidence inducing topics are definitely anime and cosplay, but if you get me going on baking, martial arts, or political theory I'm just as happy. |

How are you only 20? That makes me older than you. Stop making me old T_T Were you aware that I am a huge fan of the Ginyu Force myself? If I asked you your thoughts on who you think I should cosplay for a convention out of any anime ever, what character would you choose? |

1. Sowwwrryyy. XD But if it makes you feel any better, I'm really an old lady at heart. Pretty much all of my friends are about 10-30 years older than me, and all I ever want to do is sew and drink tea at some points. 2. NOPE. But I am now, and I LIKE YOU. 3. I am seriously the biggest proponent of "cosplay WHOEVER YOU WANT" that I know, and I don't think I've sen a picture of you to see if there are any characters you look uncannily alike to. If you ever needed help picking between a few characters or even making a costume, I'd be happy to help!
1. Yes. Until February 10th! 2. I've drank before, but nothing super hard. I can't have beer because the yeast would make my ulcers act up, and I think vodka is a waste of money unless you buy either very good vodka, or know how to mix it. Both of these things are rather rare on a college campus. I've had wine with the family, irish coffee, and whiskey. 3. Lemon drops! 4. I just wish it were less masculine. It's just one of those things I can't change though, so *shrugs*
Good! Really busy right now though! One week from now I'll be almost done with finals though, and that is a BEAUTIFUL thought. Once I am I can finish that Frieza cosplay and work on my panel materials for Ohayocon, and catch up on all of the video games I want to play. |

Which video games do you want to play? Are you a grammar Nazi? Are you the jealous type? Have you seen the original 1982 Knight Rider? |

1. Catherine, Borderlands 2, Far Cry 3, and the DBZ Budokai HD collection. 2. For myself, I try to type with some sort of grammar/punctuation, but I don't hold anyone else to it. 3. Nah. There are times when I see someone have something I think would be cool to have, but if it's something I really need in my life, be it a tangible good or an achievement, I can work hard enough and realize it. If it's something luck-based or due to something I can never do myself, it's just not in the cards. 4. Nope.
