Am planning on watching more, although apparently it doesn't make you sad, doesn't give you the development to really care when someone dies. That's because there is uncertainty behind death in that world equating to death in the real world. Unless of course you believe the gamemaster. No I meant that I heard the characters aren't developed enough to make it sad. As in not feeling like you really know the person enough to care as much as with other anime. Idk though, Cal says it's not true, I'll see eventually. Maybe I should actually be caught up with an anime that everyone is talking about for once.... And yeh I just replied to you after 5 pages....

Just watched the latest episode, good as always... But at the end there Spoiler: click to toggle When he got through all those enemies with both swords that was a bit random... Why was he allowed to do that? It wasn't his sword yeah but it was still dual wielding the rules of the game should be pretty absolute. Be awesome if he's unlocked dual wielding again though Sugu pales in comparison to Asuna, you'd think with all her kendo training she'd be pretty helpful in a fight...

I find the main thing about that draws us in is how it relates to us, people who got into the anime are most likely gamers and are aware about MMORPGs and such. They did a good job with the characters (and the villains as well, hate Sugo, so much, lmao), and the deaths give the sense of realism to boot despite it being a game. Well it's a good thing it's fast paced like that, in each episode we learn something new about the world they're in and how it works. I am glad they didn't add like filler that showed us how they levelled and beat each floor, leave that for the games xD Spoiler: click to toggle And yeah, I could have sword that Kirito said his dual wielding skill's not there in the beginning. But then again that might be his ability to wield his own two swords, maybe grabbing Leafa's each time doesn't count? I don't know lol, I'm going to see if the light novels give us any more details. Talking about the light novel, it gives the names of the moves and some explanation on them as well, which I found to be pretty neat and gave us more insight in what happened. Spoiler: click to toggle In the final battle in SAO, the light novel stated that Kirito had already started 'the eclipse' combo and couldn't stop himself I think, which later made him open to attack. In the anime it looked like 'Starburst Stream' again in how it looked and the he wanted to overwhealm the bad guy even though it was damn obvious he was using a shield tech, lol
