Personally I like them togethor. They deserve to be togethor I feel. After all that Krillin did for her during the Cell Saga shows his willingness to give up anything, including the ability to be with her. I also like a good underdog story. So what about you guys? What do you think? Please don't be afroid to voice your opinions. |

I think they are good together. She doesn't have to be mean and bossy as she is imo, but then again that relationship those two have actually fits them, and is really funny. |

She wasn't really bossy to GT. She obviously cared in Z, even if she couldn't outwardly show it as much as she would like. |

I really liked the idea, I just wish we got to see some more of it. As I recall, even when they were married 18 still treated Krillin with slight disdain, other than one comment to 'be careful' or something like that. We need more of that kind of stuff. |

It was very much deserved for Krillin considering his bad luck for most of the series. |

Well, I'm like one of the biggest Android 18 fans ever and personally... I have to say she could do a lot better  Now I love Krillin and all, but I always thought their romance felt quite unnatural and rushed. I personally think Android 18 should have had a relationship with Vegeta instead. Yep, that's right, Vegeta, the prince of all saiyans! If you think about it they'd make a perfect couple! They are both strong, obviously, and both have the same type of cocky, sarcastic attitude. Moreover, 18 was like the first person to beat SSJ Vegeta in a fight, which completely humilliated him as we know... how awesome would it be if Vegeta ended up growing feelings for the woman who defeated him? That could make for some really cool, emotional scenes! That being said, Krillin x Android 18 is an alright couple. |

Krillin should of been dead loooong ago but, I didn't really like it. Too many problems. I get she was a human before but, did her human emotions come over to the robot side with her? Plus, she could do way better then him. |

For me Vegeta and 18 would be too similar to work. Krillin deserved it more and it just felt appropriate. After all of Vegeta's cheap android jokes/insults I doubt he'd want to be with an android, or as he calls them a trash can/broken toy/toaster. |

"She could do better" "Android 18 should have had a relationship with Vegeta instead" How is that better? Vegeta's the least marriage material guy in the show. Krillin's actually a nice guy who doesn't really have any major personality flaws that I can remember. Anyway it did seem a bit rushed and out of nowhere but what relationship in DBZ wasn't? At least it had more development than Goku and Chichi or Vegeta and Bulma, plus most of the actual development probably happened in those 7 years. |

I can't believe you're asking me who would be a better husband for 18 using real life criteria lool Of course Krillin strikes me as a sweeter guy who would probably commit a lot more to a relationship, I'm talking from an entertainment point of view. I think it would be a lot more interesting to see Vegeta struggling with his feelings for falling in love with the woman who humilliated him in battle. Besides, Vegeta and 18 are like two pieces of the same cloth. They have similar personalities in some ways. That's why I think 18 and Vegeta would be a much more interesting couple. If we're going by real life patterns then she should marry Trunks, but it seems a bit silly to think of things in those terms here. |

Well entertainment wise sure, I thought you were saying Vegeta would actually make a better husband by your "She could do better" line. Although Vegeta wouldn't have been that bad a husband after the battle with Kid Buu I suppose. I just can't see it working myself, they'd probably argue too much

Strawberry swoops in with some awesome posts.  I agree with her, and I agree with Clearin. I liked the couple. I'm not exactly sure what she saw in him or why she suddenly fell for him, but oh well. The mystery of the 7 year gap. |

*clap clap* Yes, I like Crilin/18. About Vegeta/18, I quote myself from another topic: In my opinion Vegeta and 18 need an affectionate partner, although they would never admit it. They are both proud and cold, but they learn how to live with other people because they receive love from Bulma and Crilin. However, I love the idea Vegeta likes a woman that doesn't concern battles but has a strong personality. She's different and similar to him at the same time. Ok, I love Vegeta/Bulma, is it too evident? XDD |

I see, 18 and Vegeta would make an interesting couple, but personally I do not think it would be anymore interesting than Krillin and 18 or Vegeta and Bulma. Afterall a Vegeta/18 pairing probably be not much different than Bulma and Vegeta pairing. I mean sure 18 can spar but she'll never be anywhere near Vegeta's level in order to train with him on a regular bsis. Plus I don't think she would be anymore involved with actual fighting or world protecting than when she is with Krillin. Also I think Krillin and 18 have more in common than people think. It takes some observation of the show but take a look how Krillin acts early in the original Dragon Ball. He doesn't smile often, is more serious minded, and really wasn't exactly a nice kid. He might actually have a dark past (though it is a little mysterious) just like most of the Z-fighters do. He also does sometimes have a sense of sarcasm too like his wife does. And 18 might not be as confident underneath that cold facade, afterall her life was ruined by being turned into a practical weapon, she may actually be only arrogant. The defitnition of arrogance is to cover insecurity with a false sense of pride. Edited by Godzuko, Oct 22 2012, 05:22 PM.
