Posts: 1,356 Group: Member Member #7,850 Joined: June 27, 2012 Favourite Anime Dragonball Favourite Manga Dragonball	Going by the logic that they achieved Super Saiyan younger than Gohan and were not massively behind the adult saiyans at SS1 in the Buu saga I'd say they have greater potential than Gohan. If they went Mystic as adults I think their power would be much higher than Gohan's and if they fused and became Mystic Gotenks then I think it'd be safe to say you wouldn't want to pick a fight with them.

But following the THEORY (not logic) that hes as strong as goku in SSj doesnt leave out that its still him at max power in ssj, whether hes as strong as goku or not. hes still not very strong.

Also lets look at this logic. Goten age 7>Gohan age 7>Goku age 7 They keep getting much stronger at a younger and younger age. This to me suggests greater potential. I personally think they kids have just as much potential as Gohan, or at least Goten does. Trunks I'm not sure on. If they were unleashed completely, they could be around Ultimate Gohan possibly.

The best one Favourite Manga They all suck	Yeh, D7 states Goten = Gohan potential-wise, but we're never shown hints in the manga. Well, we're shown hints of Goten's potential, sure, but never anything drastic like Gohan-level. But it's all we've really got to go by, and it isn't really far-fetched, so I guess Goten would be at around Gohan-level, if not higher. Trunks, probably the same...but he's more iffy.

This to me suggests greater potential. i think it has to do with technique, bardock himself turned SSj after only training for a few weeks. LOL. i know its non canon, but still, thats how ssj has been being treated as achieving. Broly achieved it at a super young age. and since its really just a manifestation of psychic power then its not a huge stretch to believe that the propensity for power is passed along, but lets be real. Once the technique is perfected? it benefits everyone. Roshi took 50 years to CREATE the kame blast. it took kuririn and goku less than a year. took tien just one time to see it. The point is that once a technique is perfected you dont KNOW who will be able to adapt better. Turning SSj for goten was a natural process. although there is some credence to having the propensity for power passed down, and then utilized for max potential. gotens max potential isnt like gohans. gohans isnt like gokus. they are all different, just powerful in their own way.

And in general, no one was ever like Gohan period as he is the only hybrid born with a tail, meaning the only half human, half Saiyan with the ability to go ape, yet semi human consciousness to be directed in that state (see Krillin and Goku at Vegeta). And to be honest he's the only one with a completely docile, goofy, fun loving side, and a complete 180 bipolar, primal, blood lusted twisted side in him when he snaps

Trunks is stronger than Goten only before their training in RoSaT. After they trained they became equal.
