Villain as a good guy?

Firefox Favourite Manga Dragonball	The idea of Dabura, who was modeled after the popular conception of Lucifer, turning into a good guy was always hilarious to me. Which is good, it's Toriyama's classic Monty Python-esque irony in his humor. Of course he only turned good for Toriyama to make that joke, but not for any plot reasons. I really can't think of any villains turning good that haven't already. Pilaf might be an interesting one to toy around with. Edited by Red Krockhead, Oct 18 2012, 12:43 AM.

Chrome	I approve of both Cell and Janemba as good guys Especially Cell :3 I can really see it happening, actually, despite my fangirlism. He's mindset is not much different than Vegeta's, who wanted to prove himself as a warrior. I think, given the right opportunities, Cell would have made a really interesting good guy.

He shows a lot of the Saiyans determination to grow strong and to prove his strength. Vegeta and Goku also exhibit this need several times and it doesn't stop them from being good. Of course to Vegeta it came later, but as I said we've been shown it can happen so I don't see why it couldn't with Cell. Edited by Seruphim, Oct 18 2012, 07:53 AM.

I wonder how his "I'm perfect" personality would turn out (once he's a good guy). I don't think he'd ditch that belief, really. More mysterious kinda thing. I realized once I made my post that it might look like I was saying you were against him being a bad guy. Which isn't what I was trying to do. Just using it as evidence that he could be good. Actually, when the collected Piccolo's cells he was already on the way to being a good guy pretty much. It was pre-Frieza saga. After his time with Gohan he was pretty much good I believe. And they collected them around the Saiyan saga I would think, when Vegeta came. Or maybe even Cold was on Earth with Frieza since that was the only time they could have collected it. So I think Piccolo should be on the good guy list. Anyway, this isn't about that lol I got carried away But yeah, I don't see him as much of a talkative person to the rest of the group. And some of the gang would probably feel uncomfortable around him anyway. He would be more of a recluse and probably training a lot or something. He would probably be just as upset as Vegeta about not being the strongest. In fact, he might just fly off. Because of Frieza's cells he can breath in space (although didn't Vegeta train out there too or was that simulation or something? I remember him being on an asteroid.) But regardless, he could just pick up and leave to train or find fights on other planets.

He loves to prove himself as a fighter by fighting strong opponents, and I guess he would fit just right in the Z fighters.
