If you want to get straight into the action, then Kai is for you. I prefer DBZ, and for the most part I like the original Funimation voices more than the ones in Kai, I also don't mind DBZ's filler, for the most part it used its filler very well. I'm also not so fond of Kai's music. However, for the Freiza saga, you must watch Kai. Although I don't really like the voices or the music, it's worth it because the original Freriza saga goes on forever. That is one saga that the filler and pacing actually annoys. But for every other saga, stick to DBZ. But a lot of people prefer Kai for its more action packed pacing, it's just not for me. |
