Was guru's powerup a fixed potential release or was it based on your current power/potential? If it wasn't fixed, is there a reason why Goku didn't get the unlock while he was dead for 7 years? |

Guru's potential unlocking ability is not fixed. All he does is unlock potential. The more potential you'll have, the stronger you'll get. |

Is like a faucet. More and more power leaks out over time. It's how Krillin kept getting stronger and stronger after battles unlike normal humans. As for Goku not getting it, he never met Guru. Likewise I think Guru went to heaven to rest in peace, unless if he went to the land of guardians like in the garlic filler |

That's neat, I always thought it was one boost like Super Gogito and that Krillin kept getting stronger like Yamcha and Tien through training. |

I mean his power jumps dramatically. It jumped from traveling back to Bulma and Gohan when Vegeta and Zarbon followed him to Vegeta being shocked when he powered up vs Guldo. Then it jumps again to the point he holds back at Ginyu Goku. Vegeta recognizes it and points out to Frieza that he is growing stronger just like Gohan, and Vegeta had already said 90k Goku couldn't step to Frieza even knowing of kaioken x 4 firsthand Gohan only got such a gap on him thanks to that zenkai from Fieza standing on his head. He got like a double power up after Dende healed him so to speak. |
