So why doesn't Goten seem to have that much influence? He isn't really that cocky and is very much like a young Goku. Gotenks seems to be more cocky than even Trunks on his own so how does he end up with that attitude and Goten seemingly having hardly any influence?

Posts: 5,234 Group: Member Member #6,870 Joined: October 16, 2011	The dance is controlled by the more powerful being I guess, while the potara are controlled by the stronger personality. I mean think about it. When we see Gogeta for his first prolonged time in GT, he asks like Goku. Vegeta even blames Goku for not killing Omega as he wanted to toy with him like he did every fighter he faced in space for kicks. Goku's power was stronger so he controlled the personality of the fusion dance, while the lesser power controlled the looks. Besides the purple hair, you see a lot of Goten in his appearance, just like you see a lot of Vegeta in Gogeta. When you look at the potarta created Vegetto who Toei gave an extended showcase to, they have Baba and Yemma both outright agree that he looks like Goku, as does Dende. The way he fights, thinks, and acts is all Vegeta though as he even calls himself Kakarot. That leads me to say the stronger personality, which Vegeta's is and that can't be disputed (see him controlling the ape mind) controls the potara being which is why the Supreme Kais also controlled theirs

Chrome Favourite Manga Seven Deadly Sins, Food Wars, Onepunch-Man	I just think it's more of a case of Trunks coming up with something stupid, and then Goten goes along with it (as he usually does). So maybe that's how the fusion works?
