Just saw DBZ Movie 7 and Goku's power after absorbing that Spirit Bomb was INSANE. He destroyed Android 13, who was previously untouchable, with a single punch. Goku created a freaking whirlpool vortex by simply powering up and A13's punches vaporized his fists when he tried to attack Goku. Im gonna assume that Goku was around SSJ2 level power at this time..any thoughts or opinions on this?? |

I highly doubt he'd need to have SSJ2 power to do that. Anyways, this is Goku from the Androids arc IMO, so basically the Goku who fought #19 (except he isn't sick this time). Super 13 was a lot stronger than that, and Goku w/ the Spirit Bomb was much stronger than that, but he doesn't need to be anywhere near SSJ2 power to do this. The reason: In this movie, Piccolo is probably above the SSJs, as he's most likely absorbed Kami by this point. If I recall, he was also the only one who even budged #13 with a punch. But this same Piccolo couldn't even budge Imperfect Cell with a full power blast, meaning that, in terms of power: SSJ2 Kid Gohan >~ 'Super' Perfect Cell >> Full Power Perfect Cell >> MSSJ Kid Gohan > MSSJ Goku (at Cell Games) >> USSJ Trunks (fighting Perfect Cell) >> ASSJ Vegeta (fighting Semi-Cell) > Semi-Cell >>> Imperfect Cell >> #13 > Piccolo. I don't think Goku would need SSJ2 power to do what he did to #13; he probably had power on the same level as Imperfect Cell, though, or maybe a bit higher, but that's really it. |

I don't think he was anywhere near Super Saiyan 2 power. He was just extremely powerful for a Super Saiyan. |

Nice way to sum it, KP.... Btw, was Piccolo the only one who so much as budged Super 13 in the movie? It's the only thing I can't remember. |

Well, we'd just have to ignore that 'cause it's base form and TOEI.... @TheDEVAstative1: You saw the movie recently, so was Piccolo the only one who was able to budge Super #13? I don't think it affects anything (if anything, it makes Super #13 weaker as well), but I'm curious. |

Ok guys, that seems very reasonable. Now that i think about the evidence you've presented, your point makes a lot of sense. @Kyouka: Yes, Base Vegeta did move his head slightly with a punch that Android 13 wasn't expecting but it didn't really hurt him, just moved his head a bit. Piccolc completely picked Android 13 up at one point, but then Android 13 elbowed him in the face, making Piccolo drop him. So Base Vegeta and Piccolo were the only two fighters to physically move And.13 (besides SSJ Goku after the SB Absorb of course) Edited by TheDEVAstative1, Oct 14 2012, 05:37 AM.

Okay then. Since #13 wasn't expecting Base Vegeta's punch, we could probably ignore that, so my explanation works, I suppose. |

True. There really isn't a valid reason to put Super #13 so high up on the power chain. He got done in by a very impressive move, no doubt, but that doesn't mean he should be given extra props IMO. |

Yeh, and as for Goku's power here, Imperfect Cell-level power (post-humans) is godly at this point in time. So Goku still is something very special here, like the way 1st Form Freeza is still something very special in the Ginyu Saga.

That explains it then...DBZ is constantly advancing through power levels so in one saga, a character may seem absolutely invincible, but in the next, that same character could be a weakling..an interesting feature of the series

its called power and villain progression. and since 16,17 and 18 are in this movie, then it stands to reason that these guys are right, because no one has discovered imperfect cell as of yet. But its obvious he is there, and its smack in the middle of the android arc. |
