Hi guys, this is my first post on this forum and admittedly i came here for some help. I'm not sure if what i'm looking for even exist but i figured if anyone knows it'd be the folks here. So let's start with a brief intro here, then i'll explain what i'm looking for. I grew up on DBZ trying to get my hands on anything related to it really i had the card games, the video games, and never missed episodes on Cartoon Network/Toonami, even had some cool super sayain goku action figures that are no longer with us (the destruction and chaos that befalls a boy as a teen. firecrackers i believe) Now as that goes recently I've had a tugging on my heart to view some more Dragon Ball Z. While I did enjoy FUNimations version of the show I think now being a 21 year old that i'm not gonna be too traumatized by the real dragon ball z that a friend of my step dad showed me at one time. so essentially what i'm looking for folks is the most vulgar, bloody, and uncut version of the Z i can find. I've seen other episodes online and i'm unsure of which copy they were they seem to be more violent but dont have the swearing i've heard of they do feature a cutscene during which i believe to be a commercial break of Goku and a young Gohan with some silly music playing. But I'd really like to find the versions i've heard about with violence, flipping the bird, and swearing. Preferably in english if there is one. Also please don't suggest Kai. it was an absolute disgrace to the series in my opinion. And if you do post a suggestion please let me know what Saga the version suggested leads up to. I'm trying to completely rewatch the entire show all the way until i reach GT PLEASE GUYS! help me out! Edited by MrFumbles69, Oct 13 2012, 01:29 PM.

Hi, welcome to the forum As far as I can remember, the Dragon Box's contain uncut episodes. I doubt they'd have swearing with the English Dub though and I don't think they contain the music that aired on Toonami either but I think it's the only uncut release and it's in better quality than the Orange Bricks. Though, I think some of the sets are harder to get and more expensive than others. Thanks a bunch! Every suggestions helpful!. I guess i should mention i saw a youtube video of Jeice saying *****er and vegeta flipping someone off (could have been fanart) But again thanks ill check it out

Ah, you saw Team Four Star. That's a comedy fandub of the series, not the actual show itself. The flipping someone off bit is probably in the show but not what Jeice said. Edited by Copy_Ninja, Oct 13 2012, 03:27 PM.

I remember seeing Vegeta flipping people off and im pretty sure other characters do to. I also remember seeing a few penises when i grew up watching the show with my brothers but that doesnt really help u much. id just look online for episodes and see if u can find it |

They're the only one's of the main series (there's a couple of different English dubs of the movies), I don't even know if the Ocean Dub is available on any of the DVDs. The only sets you'd look at are the Dragon Box's or the Remastered Sets. I'd recommend the former but the latter are cheaper, so it depends on how much you have to spend. |

Amazon may be the best place to go if you want to find any of these quick. And I recommend the Orange Bricks. Those are what I use but I'm not sure if it's the Dragon Boxes you're looking for. |

I like the remastered sets(orange boxes) they are fully uncut and have the Funimation soundtrack, in reality Im not really a fan of the Japanese soundtrack |

Uncut in English- 1s I know of- Dragon Boxes- (original DBZ, Japanese with Eng subs or Funimation Dub, original Japanese background music only) Orange Bricks- (remastered so colours are all too bright, and details on faces etc taken off, such as scratches from fighting, has the original Japanese background music and Bruce Falcouner/Funimation music) For Dragon Ball there's the Blue Bricks Maybe on Ebay or Amazon. Really idk though, I just used the internet if you know what I mean.... |
