Vegeta: not durable

Do you think that Vegeta isn't durable like Goku because he doesn't spar?
Because Vegeta's training never consists of sparring but only extreme excercises.

Goku can take much more punishment then Vegeta does, not only shows that Goku has more heart but is also much more durable in battle.

As well as the beating he got on Earth from Goku, Krillin, Gohan, and Yajirobe. He definitely kept coming back for more.

But most of the times, epic intro and stuff. Gets hit once and is out.

That's only in the movies.

He survived a hell of a beating against Earth's forces, and Recoome really took it to him. 4th Form Freeza ragged on him like a beast. He wasn't out after SPC finished with him. He survived a thrashing from Kid Boo.

I'd say he's damn durable.

When he first arrived on earth, he was durable as hell. I remember when I first saw the saiyan saga as a kid, I was like "ok this time he's dead...wait he got back up. WTF!?"
On Namek he was pretty durable too.
Android and Cell saga less so, but still pretty tough, as well as for the rest of the series.

I wouldn't say he's generally un-durable. I would say that he's always the unlucky one that has to fight far superior opponents (Freeza, Cell, Buu).

I know he was durable when he was considered ''important'' but was just speaking in the general sense.
Sometimes he couldn't die and then there is times, 1-shotted.

Vegeta is 14 years older than Goku physically.

Vegeta also can take a beating with the best of them. He survived Gohan, Goku, and Kriilin off sheer will power as he got hit head on withy blast double his strength, stabbed, crushed by a giant, and hit with a spirit bomb. He got stomped by Buu twice and once was without his ki. Hell he didn't die from Firzas beating which would have killed the others.

Getting one-shotted doesn't necessarily mean you're not durable; it just means you're a lot weaker than your opponent. Vegeta's other feats (mentioned above here and there) support that.

Another example - Recoome was heavily implied to have the most durability of the Ginyus, but Goku one-shotted him. But only because Goku was much stronger.

I think he's the most durable character on the show except for Buu, Freeza the infinite energy Androids, and maybe Cell.

He only got 1 shot once in his life from what I can remember, and even that didn't knock him out.

no man your wrong his the most durable in the show, he wins that title easily.
Theres countless of times during the show were he faced off against someone who was stronger then him, even after the eating he kept getting up for more.

Its only in the movies were his one shotted, what can i say thats toei for you.
