Did Gohan know how to go SSJ 3?

Why would we know about it though? His unlocked form didn't need any transformation, so maybe he never had to use it.
If Toriyama wanted Gohan to know how to go SSJ3, it would have at least been included in the manga. Since it wasn't we can't really assume he did.

Yeah that's true, but it would be cool if he could learn it in the new movie so he can be relevant again.

 The Elder Kaioshin draws out all of Gohan's dormant power out to the surface that formerly required him to transform in order to access. SSJ3 was included in there, obviously.

 Doesn't the Daizenshuu list Goku and Gotenks as the only SS3 users?
