Which do u think is the best ''period'' of Tori's work?

Toriyama had different drawing periods where some chapters he drew were kind of lazy drawn and some others u can tell he spent a big amount of time to create.
The worst of his drawing ''periods'' were in vol, 42 in my opinion, where he was rushing to end the series and didn't emphasize really much on drawing detailed and with passion. (except for the last 3 chapters where Dragon Ball ends, that's where he draws well in vol. 42.)

Vol. 42 worst sketches:

Let's say Vol. 27 however the artwork is just beautiful:

Thala na Gethu!

Definetly Frieza & Cell period of time. And to an extent, pre-Buu Saga. The series rocked & Toriyama definetly showcased some of his best artistic style.

Its a shame though, he could've focused a bit more as Buu saga reaches its ending.

The Buu saga really did have some horrible (by Toriyama standards) and lazy quality at times. Ironically I think the Buu saga anime had the best quality.

Anyway I'd say the Cell saga. That shot of SSj2 Gohan straight after transforming is just incredible.

Cell and Freeza Sagas were high points, especially Cell.

Yeah, agreed everyone. . .

Also, check out one of the last pages of Vol. 42 where Toriyama's drawing is just nice and plain and nothing wrong with them:
