Yeah I see that the dub exaggerated that but he still said "dead end" and looked a bit nervous and was even sweating. I mean why would he even pause at it at all when he's Goku and could just charge through like it was nothing?
Yeah that's true. His kid self in DB wouldn't of hesitated once. And you hit it right on the head saying he would do it with a smile on his face.

Gohan not wanting to fight Cell. He's never had a problem with fighting before (Other than Nappa but that's understandable). Why would he train 3 years for the Androids and then 1 year for Cell if he didn't plan on actually fighting?
^^^^^ This right here, I remember when him, Kuririn and Bulma were on their way to Namek...Gohan couldn't get into his fighting clothes quick enough, and forget about studying...also iirc I believe Gohan was always more focused on the task at hand in the Artificial Human arc and when Chi-Chi wanted him to study he was more worried about finding a way to beat #17 and #18, then was more worried about finding and trying to stop Cell.

Everything leading up to the Cell Games completely contradicted Gohan not wanting to fight.

And to top that off^^ Gohan was rushing Goku to go in the RoSaT and it's like he changed all of sudden when he came out. Like transforming changed him.. Gohan is a weird cat. He's so different from others.

 I wouldn't say Transforming changed him, because Gohan wanted to Train during the 10 day wait...Goku said no. So, it was more like Gohan changed at the very last second...perhaps it was Cell blasting him into those rocks...yeah that must be it! :cool:

 It is very weird how Gohan changes like that. Maybe its just that he'd reached a certain age and could have been nearing puberty where the human genes became more dominant.

 Krillin choosing not to train with Piccolo, Gohan, and Goku was stupid. He's the only human Piccolo has true respect for, the only human to train with Goku, and Gohans tag partner. Logically he would be the one wanting to join them over Tien the loner or Yamcha the goof. Yet they had him say no ill train with Roshi, which is crazy especially so in the anime as they spend the garlic filler showing him training and promising Goku he'll be stronger and help him next time while never being helpless again like with Frieza.


Vegeta going crazy over Trunks being killed. He never showed one ounce that he cared for future or present trunks. Hell he would sooner save Goku Krillin Gohan Or Piccolo than either Trunks or Bulma. He went ape out the blue and shocked Cell, the z fighters and even Trunks when he was told about it.

I think Vegeta was probably just hiding the fact that he cared about his son until then because he'd see it as a sign of weakness. Maybe he didn't realise until then how much he cared about Trunks and the shock of him being killed suddenly made him realise and set him off.

 Ok ill give you that

Krillin thing was stupid still. He's the only one that new Friezas true power, only one who knew among the humans just how bad the androids would me as it was Namek x 2000. He's always kept up with Goku as a training partner. He kept up with Gohan and was so influential. Piccolo respected him and admitted it out loud. Even Vegeta was slowly cutting off on the baldy and shrimp jokes to mention his name.

And he chooses to train with Roshi over Gohan, Goku, and Piccolo even though we know his potential is higher than the other humans and he and Gohan as a tandem with nothing but image training were a handful let alone years of perfecting tandem offense

Even more mind blowing mind you is same guy intends to fight in the cell games unlike Tien and Yamcha and was genuinely shocked when Goku didn't let him, the other saiyans, and Piccolo get a turn before Jim

 Yeah it was dumb how Krillin chose to train with Roshi. I mean what could Roshi possibly do for him at that point?

 I don't think Krillin was training with Roshi. He was just training at Roshi's place since he lived there. Heck maybe he flew to a bigger island every day, we have no idea.

Yeah I think he trained by himself too. When he got there he asked Roshi to train him(might have been a filler) but Roshi was actually seemed more into his magazines than ever. Roshi didn't have time for him. So I wouldn't be surprised if he went over to bigger islands for himself or shooting Kame Waves at the sea. It may have shoon him doing that once or twice.

 I think Piccolo gets a lot softer throughout the series. He goes from ruthless, to anti-hero, to hero, to wise and peacefull (especially after fusing with Kami).

 Hell, I guess I'll say any time Roshi talked to Bulma or any of the female characters with a straight face and some serious subject matter instead of the usual "OOOOOOHH, hehehe let me see your boobies!!!"

 Piccolo does seem to change a great deal over the series. In DB he's a villain and seems to let his anger get the best of him. In Z he still lets pride get in his way early on like when he gets Gohan to wish him to namek when he has no chance of winning against Frieza. From the Android Saga onwards we see him being very thoughtful about his fights and if its worth trying to fight like how he doesn't even attempt to attack Super Buu.
