In the manga and the anime, Vegeta (with a power level of 18,000) in the saiyan saga claims that he can blow up the Earth. The daiz and the anime later stated that 200 - 300 kilis is enough to destroy a planet or two. That's why 200, maybe even 300 kilis, equals a power level of 18,000. By saying that it doesn't, you're contradicting what the manga, the anime, and the daiz said.
It was 300.

I'm contradicting the anime, and maybe the daiz, but I'm not contradicting the manga.

Also, I don't remember it being stated that a PL of 18,000 is the bare minimum for blowing up a planet.

It's most likely higher, since the Galick Gun should've been amplified higher than 18k, as it was on par with the KKx3 KHH. But still irrelevant to this.

The daiz said 200 to 300 kili.
Was it going off of the anime or what? Nothing like that's in the manga.

And, tbh, it'd be a real pain in the butt to come up with an actual formula if 200 = 18,000, and 3000 = MSSJ Goku (arguably a suppressed one, but still).

Yes it was going by the anime, nothing was ever said about 200 to 300 kili being able to destroy a planet in the manga.

^Lol, you kinda quoted the wrong thing.

Anyways, that's why I wouldn't agree with 200-300 ~ 18,000, because that is really really low.

Yeah I know, that's because you edited your post before I can finish posting. :p I also find the idea of 200-300 = PL of 18,000 to be very skeptical. let's just say that kili is just another unit of measuring ki that's different from power levels.

So with all that said, can we all agree that that "200-300 kilis is enough to destroy a planet" statement is not true because it wasn't stated in the manga.

It was stated in the Daizenshuu, wasn't it?

The kiri meter doesn't seem to go higher than 3000 anyways.
That's kinda like saying you can't go higher than 24,000 because Zarbon's scouter broke.
