I agree with that too...it really would kill all debates, but I do think some debates (Gogeta, Vegetto...I could go on), should be settled by AT though. |

Actually, I'm with you 100% about that Prince Vegeta but if a new list was to come out then I personally think things should be done that way or in that scenario. |

Well if you think about it, the chances of official power levels being released this time of the century doesn't seem THAT far fetched to me because look at all the stuff the series gave to us recently and in the future. We had the episode of bardock which came out about 2 years ago, and we're going to have a dbz movie coming out next year. |

I just don't think Toriyama likes using them at all. During Freeza saga it was great because we could really see how strong Goku was getting. But during that saga you could literally just tell who was going to win from who had the higher power level. Plot needs mystery... |

I think Toriyama will not release legitimate power levels post Frieza. I'm not sure why though. But one things do knows it makes the vs matches a lot more interesting

Just a small niche of the fanbase cares about Power levels. Staring at a bunch of ginormous numbers is not appealing to most people, where a mere statement would suffice. |

Lets be honest guys, if AT cared so much about PL, instead of villain progression and strength statements, The movies would be based SOLELY on that, and goku would have lost to broly, the whole point about the movies in general was the theme that you NEVER give up, you keep trying to succeed and you will. Defeating guys like broly and super 13 were never supposed to be analyzed, they are metaphors. Impossible odds overcome by one mans determination or with the help of his friends. Not much else to it. Huge theme though. |
